Witchhill Stud was established in 2005. In that year we amalgamated Haysford and Fairisle stud to form Witchhill stud.

We are a family run stud specialising in breeding welsh ponies, in the glorious colours of palomino, golden dun, cream, cremmello.

It’s been fairly quiet here at Witchhill. With the show ponies having a well earned holiday. But Carmen unfortunately doesn’t get a holiday as she is the designated Pony club pony.

Holiday Time for the unicorns of Witchhill. Pantycoed Silver Charm and Pentrefelin Carmen. These two ladies are just so special to us. Tabby is blessed to have these dear ladies in her life.

It’s holidays time for Zippy. Broadgrove Made You Look. She has had lovely first season with her tiny Tabby. They notched up 4 firsts. Two reserve championships. And lots of lovely comments from judges and equestrian friends. So much more from this baby combination. A massive thank you to Ann and Alexandra of Broadgrove stud who have given us the chance to purchase this fabulous little mare.

Team Witchhill went to our Local show. It was incredibly hot. Credit to my 4 yr old jockey who rode in 3 classes in wool jackets.
Broadgrove Made You Look. 2nd in Childrens Riding class.
2nd in Mixed height Wpb, then taking reserve champion.
But it was Pentrefelin Carmens day. Winning m and m lead rein.
1st Fancy dress. Then picked up some Red Rosettes in the gymkhana too. Carmen aka Caz has been a field ornament for a number of years. And this is her first show, with her new partner, and best friend Tabby.

Tabitha Took Pentrefelin Carmen to her first pony club camp. They had a wonderful time. A long and hot day. But both pony and rider smiled throughout the day.

Dam Chaseford Charisma.
Purchased directly from Broadgrove stud with the plans to add her to our breeding program once Tabby has had a few years of enjoyment with her. Very excited to see these two grow together. Both still a bit wobbly and green, but in a couple of seasons we should have a sweet little partnership.
