🔺️ HOUSE RULES - PLEASE NOTE! 🔺️
🔹️Please give a minimum of 24 hrs notice for cancellations where possible,
🔹️Less than 24 hours notice is 50% of groom price, payable before next groom, UNLESS I can fill the appointment
🔹️On the day cancellation or no-show * is 100% of groom price, payable before next groom.
🔹️LATE ARRIVAL - If you are more than 20 minutes late for your appointment and I haven't heard from you (it only take two minutes to call!) to say you are on your way, your appointment will be cancelled. This will be classes as a no-show *.
🔹️LATE COLLECTION - Please collect your dog in a timely manner. Ten minutes from being notified is acceptable. If you need longer to get to me then I am more than happy to contact you so you can arrive at the time your dogs groom is being finished.
🔹️FLEAS
If I find your dog has fleas there will be a charge of £10
🔹️MATTING
If your dog has excessive matting there will be an extra charge of £10.

This month I am down £400 from lost appointments.

This is a regular occurance from people either forgetting their appointments or deciding last minute that their dog doesn't need grooming once they have received my reminder. I understand that life gets in the way but this is a regular monthly occurance that I cannot sustain.

For whatever reason, if you are not going to make the appointment PLEASE let me know in advance so I can fill the grooming slot.

Putting it another way, if you checked your payslip and found £400 missing, wouldn't you have something to say about it?

ALWAYS CHECK OVER YOUR DOG AFTER WALKING IN GRASS.

The x-ray on the left is of a foxtail tract that was injected with contrast medium to show just how far a foxtail can travel. The lesion between the toes of the foot on the bottom right is how these tracts will look to the naked eye. This is a great example of just how far foxtails can migrate in tissues.

Your Puppy's first groom will include:
Bath
Blow dry
Hygiene trim
Claws trimmed
Ears cleaned
Pads trimmed
The first groom will be shorter than a full groom. Pups can't put up with standing or tolerating a long groom. It is similar to expecting a four year old child to sit still when they have their hair cut for the first time.

Puppy Prep Sessions
Price: FREE OF CHARGE

As soon as your puppy has had their vaccinations I encourage you to bring them in for a Puppy Prep Session. This can be as early as 12 weeks. It is essential for your puppy to learn that being groomed is an enjoyable experience and not something to be frightened of.

The Session will comprise of introducing the sights and sounds of the bath, grooming table, hair dryer, scissors and clippers whilst handling their face, ears and paws. This will take approx. 15-20 minutes. If the fur around their eyes need trimming or claws need clipping then this can be done during the session. Usually one Session is adequate but for nervous pups a second Session is recommended.

The sooner and more often your puppy is groomed the happier they will be with being groomed.
