Finished the last walks this evening 😭 I will miss all of the lovely dogs 🐶 and cats 🐱 you have entrusted me to care for the past year ❤️ it's been fun and I will miss it. Merry Christmas and I hope to see you all again soon 👋

Hi all, you may or may not know that these past few months I've been struggling with some health issues. I've been pushing to keep going as long as possible but unfortunately, the time has come for me to accept that I need to take some time for myself. Therefore, from January 2024, Tillie and Furriends will no longer be operating. I am hoping this is a temporary measure and we will be back at some point. However, at this moment I really don't know. Thank you for all your support and trusting me to care for your beautiful pets. I love them all dearly and have had a great time. This isn't goodbye, this is take care for now ❤️

So very sad. Rest in peace beautiful boy ❤️

As you are all aware, our beautiful boy Junior came to us needing urgent surgery to remove a huge lump on his neck. The lump was significantly impacting his quality of life, at just fifteen months old he hated to walk for more than a few minutes at a time. Our vets did not know whether or not the lump was malignant, but its pace of growth and position meant it had to be removed, to give Junior any chance at a life without discomfort.

Our wonderful supporters rallied, as always, to support Junior through this major surgery. Junior underwent the surgery and the vet removed a 775g mass from his throat. The surgery was complex, and Junior suffered significant blood loss, and we are heartbroken to share with you all that Junior very sadly passed away following complications during his recovery. The whole team who worked with Junior are absolutely devastated, he was a charming, loving, affectionate boy and we all really wanted to see him enjoy the happily-ever-after he deserved 😥

While this isn’t the news we wanted to share with you all, we want to thank you. Thank you for giving Junior the chance to live a happy life, thank you for supporting him and for caring about him. We will be placing a plaque in our 'In Memory' space at the South Lincolnshire centre to remember Junior. Rest in peace beautiful boy, you were loved, and you will be missed 💚
