Congrats Shout out!!

Well done chelseacowie & Monkey, first trial and they took home the win in the NNA foundation trial up in Scotland today 🐾 Super proud mentor here 🐾

Monkey came in as a foster just before Christmas last year, when Chelsea was down here to shadow, learn, and become part of the business. From moving in, and the “I’ll never have a malinois” to heading back up the road with Monkey in her van, to now being the proud owner of two 😅😂 it’s fair to say Chelsea may have be influenced a little too much in her time down here!

Monkey is living her best life up near the north Scottish coast and she couldn’t want for a better home 🩷

Foundation NNA trial at Meppershall today 🐾

One of our newest teams, Anne & Nala bagged themselves a shiny reserve medal, and learned tonnes from a competition perspective!

Jill & Phoebe took home the winners medal with a lovely interior search 🐾

Today is National Black Dog Day 🐾

Now technically Raven is Black Brindle, but only just 😅

Raven was my pound dog, due to be PTS and came in to mine for foster. Reactive to people, bikes, runners and more, I realised pretty quickly, she wasn’t going anywhere as this much of a liability - especially as she doesn’t have a problem with other dogs, she fit in my household. From being a serious bite risk, to an (almost) upstanding member of society, and competing successfully in flyball to a high level (Thanks team!), she’ll always be my favourite black dog 🩷

Foundation trial in the evening at Old Warden Revolution K9 last night, saw 3 new teams to NNA competing and a couple of faces we know well 🩷

Congratulations to super novice teams Jen Gill & Vader, and Anne Parsons & Nala for managing to successfully get at least one badge, after only passing your ORTs an hour before!

Winner - Jan Martin & Onyx with an almost flawless performance throughout all searches.

Reserve - Newcomers Anne & Nala, only a few weeks into their Scentwork journey!

Our awesome Jen is doing something amazing tomorrow, THE GREAT NORTH RUN!!!

We will be cheering her on and can’t wait to have a celebration with her when she’s back :)

Here’s a few words from Jen herself!

I am running the Great North Run.

I’ve decided that it’s not only a personal challenge, but a great excuse to give back to the charity that has been a great support since my diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes.

It can be challenging at times to live with hypos and hypers and a constant stream of injections, blood checking and carb counting. But with the help of my amazing alert dog Thor and support from James and my family it has to live with me!

What a fantastic day for National Dog Day to fall on! Bank holiday Monday - which means you can spend the whole day with your four legged fiends!

What are your plans today?

We’re off out for a good walk, and spending some time 1:1 with each dog training - because that’s what we all love most in my house 🐾

Handsome boy Ernie has made his way from the pound to his new foster to adopt farm in Lancashire 🐾

Wish him luck, he certainly looks happy!!

A lot of people don’t see what goes on behind the scenes in rescue, it’s never a dull day - and can be exhausting transporting at the end of a full work day but when you get sent updates like these, it makes it all worthwhile 🐾

CANCELLATION REMINDER

Sessions should be paid in full upon booking. If I book your appointment from my end, you are required to make payment 48hrs prior to your session or it will be taken off the booking system and left open to first come first served.

Two unpaid no shows yesterday, when I’m struggling to fit others in, or could have walked my own dogs 🐾

It’s the OGs birthday today!

Happy Birthday Bella 🩷

The matriarch in the pack, quiet but they all know she means business. Even Envy gives her a wide birth 😂

I adore spending time with this one, a reminder of where I began turning my life around. I have so much to thank this dog for, as without her, I wouldn’t be here anymore, I’m certain of that. She gave me the only reason I had to get out of bed and get outside.

And the rest, well, our foundations built this empire 🐾
