So I will be off Xmas day, Boxing Day and the 27th. Please let me know who needs walks Thursday and Friday next week as I will be billing tomorrow for the month. 💜

Putting prices up when you are a small business isn’t easy. It’s actually really scary. I wrote out my price increase in July this year and sat on it out of fear.

But it has to be done to give us a fighting chance of seeing another year! So to those of you that have supported this decision, thank you so much! 💕 it means the world!

Exciting News! 😁📣

This is my cousin Jade. She is a mummy to 2 beautiful children and lives in Stotfold. She is coming on board to cover some solos and small groups in Stotfold & Arlesey.

Jade has always had a love of animals, especially dogs and sadly recently lost her lovely senior rotty Mavis, who she’d had for years.

She has been shadowing me and helping with my own dogs for some time. She is considered, patient and reliable and this makes her perfect to deal with some of our more needs specific doggos.

Please make her feel welcome and drop her a HELLO on this post.

If she is likely to attend a walk with your dog I will of course, discuss this in advance with you.

Xola stands small, not tall. She is a little malinois 🐕 👸 but the rest is true ❤️

I’m dedicating this poem to all the Malligator parents on this page.

In the world of dogs, a noble breed stands tall,
The Belgian Malinois, admired by all.
With grace and power, they proudly stride,
Intelligence and trainability by their side.

A breed that demands respect and more,
For qualities that make hearts soar.
In their presence, a lesson to be seen,
A glimpse into what a dog can truly mean.

Eagerly they learn and swiftly obey,
Their eyes alight in a pleasing display.
In every command, they find their grace,
A loyal heart in that intelligent face.

The Malinois, a faithful companion, so true,

My step-daughter is a little bit of a superhero. She’s battling a disorder called FND and she’s vlogging about it on Tik Tok. She is so so brave and makes us all so proud with her perseverance and strength.

Her disorder is dynamic and comes with lots of different symptoms including dystonia, seisures, tiks, sensory issues and weakness.

The Ban - An Update

So just sat watching a live video by Danny at Unleashed - Danny Wells Dog Training and thought I would parrot some of the things he has said to help get the message spread further - Please go watch that live, but here's a summary.

The dog is going to be banned, there's nothing we can do about that so we have to start looking forwards now.

If you have an XL Bully now - you NEED to start training and make sure that things are in place so you don't fall into problems later. You MUST take responsibility for your dog. Get a GOOD trainer, and get to work immediately.

That means your dog is likely going to have to be handled very closely, so if you have issues with humans, get to work as soon as possible. Also all dogs that will fall under this ban will have to be walked on a 2 metre lead, with a muzzle on, so make sure you are muzzle conditioning immediately.

If your dog isn't seized by police, it likely will not have to go through a behavioural assessment, but if you breach the terms of exemption it very likely will be seized, even if its just from a nosey neighbour etc. You will land in problems.

Dogs will not all be seized and taken immediately. There isn't enough time or funds to do anything such.

If the American Pit Bull Terrier ban is anything to go by, the physical measurements of the dog will likely be what 'type' a dog however we think it will be broad. This means dogs that are not XL Bullies may well be collected under that umbrella!

To have your dog off lead you must be in a private field. It must be private, locked and have fences over six feet.

Get on it people. You have to put your ducks in a row now if you want to keep your dogs happy in the months coming!

The Evening Standard tonight named greyhounds as the best breed to have in the city. Hooray! (Of course, we already knew they were the best breed wherever they are located)!!

Described in the article as, 'lazy...gentle and peaceful souls', let's hope this encourages more people to adopt a greyhound!
