We recently had a little black bird fledgling brought to us after some lovely clients found it in a not so nice situation.
We're happy to say, some TLC with our SVN Sarah and he's maturing like a champ!

Look at beautiful Bowie now! He's settling in well and loving the fusses from his new family! We couldn't be happier for him!
Cat tested, dog approved!
"Don't forget to brush our teeth too!"
How cute is little Binks?! He came in to see the vet today and wasn't particularly impressed about being woken up for it!
Rosie and Norman are just the cutest kennel mates! Here they are doing their best Lady and the Tramp impression. 😍
Milo is one of those dogs that everybody loves! He became our first patient to have intradermal allergy testing! We couldn't ask for a better boy to be the tests poster child!
What? Wednesdays!
Preliminary results from a study show that a few minutes of stroking our pets prompts a release of a number of "feel good" hormones in humans, including serotonin, prolactin and oxytocin.
As it's officially summer! We wanted to give you the following tips to help keep your pets cool this year:
• Pets should always have access to clean water; making sure to carry water with you on walks.
• Ideally dogs need to be walked at the coolest times of day. Early morning or evening.
• Do not leave pets alone in cars and hot rooms!
• Try your hand at making some cool treats! Put your pets favourite food in ice cubes or stuff a Kong and pop it in the freezer. Of course, treat moderation is essential!
• Be extra careful with those that are overweight, older, or any short nosed dog breeds (such as "bull" types, boxers and pugs). These pets could get to hot simply by running around.
• Make sure outdoor animals have shade! Place hutches in shaded areas.
I hope you find these tips helpful and enjoy this video of beautiful bunnies Nutmeg and Sesame loving their frozen banana!
When Monty came in for his check up, we tried our best to take a photo of him.. but he was far too excited to be having cuddles with Lou! And we think the feeling was entirely mutual, don’t you?!
