We said goodbye to Dinah this morning after a very successful 24hr trial. Can't wait to see her again in a few weeks time such a lovely doggy.

Daycare for Kimi today after a 50/50 trial. Today has gone incredibly well and definitely more of August 90/10 that home boarding will work here. More daycares in agreement with her owner and I think we can confidently say she will be able to board with us. There is many factors we consider when it comes to staying here and some factors are hit and miss so we add extra time and care where it's needed in order to get the best decision for our doggies and our customers.
Thank you to her owners for understanding and helping us take the extra care and time with her.

Buddy has had another cracking day whilst Riley and Finn have had a drop in this afternoon 😊. Also buddy got a new toy today as he loved dinahs so much 🐶💙

Walking day with Kissy and Jack this afternoon. We have Dinah staying for her overnight trial doing so fabulous she goes to regular daycare elsewhere and it's paying off tremendously with her. 😍

We have had a meet and greet today and it's gone really well and we are confident with build up days they will build up that trust in us 💙

Another fun filled day with Bodhi and Co. We said are bye bye to Austin and Sully today. Both of which are gentle and loving. We shall see Sully again In a few weeks 😊 love that little man.

Past few days with a Pet Sit and home boarding. We had Austin stay with us such a lovely labradoodle fits in lovely and fast asleep In our bedroom alongside Sully. We say goodbye to him today and Sully departs until the end of the month. Sully is definitely one of our babies now and gets jealous when our love is shared 😂

We said goodbye to our boy dug the pug 💙 our mini shadow 😊

Lucky was such a good boy over these past few days during the pet sit.

Pet sit day for lucky such a lovely boy very much relax kind of day he doesn't like the temperature above 21 degrees really so an easy one today bless him managed to get him out early this morning before the temperature increase.

Another chilled day here today at the Peck residence the heat is really affecting the doggies.... A little play here and there but other than that sparco on our laps or floor infront of the fans we have dotted around.

A drop in for Rupert, Finn and Riley with a walk for Jack. Jack is known as Jack jack to my daughter with Peck Junior learning the ropes of the business. However being a typical child moaning that her legs are tired after 1 walk 😂 I've told her that she needs practice ready to be a future walker 💪 Yes she does get a portion of the earnings every time she joins us it's only fair 😁

Successful meet and greet this evening another happy booking customer in the near future 😍

A full day today at max capacity with our daycare doggies which is very rare but all the dogs enjoying each other's company and relaxing in the afternoon due to the weather beating them. They all have done tremendously well though. Carrots and Cucumber with plain ice cubes to eat aswell. Paddling pool out and a hose pipe water play to keep the hounds cool although some don't agree with water so they stand by the fan inside 😂💦

Bodhi, Bailey, Sonny, Sully, Buddy and Dougie everyone mingling and getting on well. Sonny has made heaps of progress in his confidence over the past few daycare session such a lovely cockapoo 😍💙

Been another great hot day here at the Pecks residence.

Bodhi in yesterday with Sully, Buddy, Blue and Daisy. Was a great day and to spend the day with them all on my 32 birthday was brilliant!

With that being said it meant family had to visit me as we were working but nothing wrong with that and isn't the first time that my mom has came over to see us to share her love with your doggies aswell 💙

We've had a cracking trial with Bess. She struggled at first with her seperation anxiety which we was fully aware of from her owners. After about 3 to 4hours of going back and forth to the front door she calmed down. She settled really well and followed us everywhere once she understood we are here to give her all the love and attention she desires.
Travis for a full daycare him and Daisy love each other so much 😍

We had a half day pet sit with lucky yesterday such a loving doggy. Massive progress in being more comfortable around us now so nice to see 😍

We have Bess for overnight trial today and she's getting on well she struggled at the start with some seperation anxiety but we have managed to win her over with walkies and play time. Plenty of fuss and treats for her aswell to help her overcome the seperation from her owners.

It's all working out so far so here's to another doggy joining our huge ever-growing family 💙

So daisy is on cone duties and Lilah we said good bye to this afternoon such a lovely doggie and the owners are so happy with the way shes settled with us ☺️

Little Toby came in with us yesterday and gone home this morning aswell. We love that little guy and he loves us. See you next weekend bud. 🐶😍

We have Had Buddy, Molly and Bella in today. Bellas first overnight trial with us and what a stunning lady she is... Fitted right in like she's been here in the past bless her! Such a lovely doggy.

Molly is understanding other dogs a lot better now with the help of buddy showing her. ❤️

Chilled day for the doggies! as the weather was a little too hot for them. Early morning walks this morning before the heat hit them. Had a few cancellations for walks as the weather wasn't for them. Just a heads up for future customers that if needed and your out we can always change walks to a drop in on days like today 😊 This is for new customers as I know my existing customers already know this and if they are in already then it's no bother at all 💙 much love to you all.

Lilah and molly have been getting on great... We said goodbye to Bertie today what a man he is such a beautiful doggie and thoroughly enjoyed his stay by the last night he wanted to stay in our bed 🤣 we will miss him until next time matey 💙

Another busy day here with two additional daycares today 😍 Sonny and Travis the pug. Both beautiful doggies and fitted in well. Sonny we have been developing over the past few weeks and has came along strives. He is no longer timid or nervous when entering our home now and has play beautifully with the others such good doggies and plenty of treats been handed out today for being so well behaved 💙

Riley and Finn had a drop in session both gorgeous boys and plenty of play in the humid weather today both panting like mad before I left 😍

Tiredness is catching up with Bertie and lilah now bless them. After having so many days with us it sets in 🫢😴

Sky went home today our GSD what a girl she is. Can't wait to have her again in a few months time absolutely spot on 💙

It's becoming something now. Still a work in progress but it's getting there. The pergola is coming down eventually just need to do that when we are a little quieter as it involves a lot of chopping. The tree over hanging will be chopped back and bottom fence panel replaced.

We have plans to redesign the layout once the pergola is down. We have an idea with a tunnel aswell so will be adding that to the mix. Really coming on now. With added doggy decorations then at least the doggies have different levels to play on and relax on when we eventually get the sunshine weather back ☺️

Information Post!! - It's a long one 😅

Just thought we would update all on a few things. I've seen a Home boarder get a negative review for not taking on certain breeds particularly XL Bullies despite the home boarder already stating that her lnsurance doesn't cover them which I think is a little unfair despite the boarder informing them before even booking the XL bully in just our opinion though.

On that note though we do not take certain breeds either. Our insurance doesn't cover the above dogs as mentioned or any dog on the banned register. We no longer take Staffordshire Terriers or anything crossed with a Staffordshire Terrier.
Over the past 4 months the meet and greets have been failing regularly regarding one of our dogs rejecting them (not liking them) . So instead of wasting people's time and our time it's best just to say that our boy doesn't like that breed. We are devastated because we personally love them but we can't control our particular dogs preference unfortunately. So for safety reasons it's ruled out.

Another breed we won't be taking on is Border Collies, now we haven't seen any problems regarding our dogs with this particular breed but all of the dogs we walk react to them when spotting a border collie, it's very strange. We have spoken to a few dog owners and majority of them say the same thing. Now understandable being a mixed boarding setting we can't just take on a Border Collie and take the chance that others will be fine with that dog because even if our own dogs get along fine theres a higher probability that other dogs wont get along with a Border Collie. Again our apologises to Border Collie owners out there but again we want this business to run as calmly and safely with the least amount of stress on your doggies so I hope you can understand.

Next subject is home boarding and Pet Sitting is different. Home boarding is where your doggies stay with us in our home with other dogs from different households but all get along with others. Pet sitting is where we will stay in your home and pet sit your fur babies.

Please give as much time as you can for home boarding if your dogs have never done it chances are they are going to need a lot of time and effort depending on the dog of course but we have had long build ups 4months prior to a board and then others have an overnight trial and a daycare before their board it's all down to your dog. Just because your dog is okay with others doesn't mean home boarding will work out. There is many factors to consider from our perspective.

Pet Sitting is an easier process out of the two. We will meet your doggies and see how we get along with them and yourself. Depending on how they are owners sometimes do build up doggie walks for us to build that relationship up before a pet sit or majority of the Time we turn up and look after them and they settle really easily being in the comfort of their own home. This again although a very quick process compared to the boarding needs to be booked in advance as we might not have any availability.

Home boarding isnt a kennel service where you drop and go. It needs to be handled a lot more personal to create the best experience and stress free environment for your doggy. This results sometimes being more costly, once the build up is done and your dog is completely settled with us then you won't need to do a build up again as your dog knows us and trusts us. So that's a added bonus in cost for your 2nd or 3rd boarding.

Both of these services are a premium service. So they are costly but they are the best services compared to your cheaper alternative I. E kennels or unlicensed boarders.

We Do Not Take Unneutered/Intact Male dogs! We stand firmly on this one due to the fact they obsessively hump. 9 out of 10 dogs who are intact hump and scent mark excessively. We truly believe this is because they are intact. Comparing them to our Neutered Male dogs we hardly ever see a form of hu***ng or scent marking in our home. We understand the odd accident or the odd over excited hump but once told they stop and won't do it again just purely got over excited.
We do not condone hu***ng! Even from the odd female dog its too much of a safety concern of ours. We maybe too strict with hu***ng but we continue to run with no dog fights or incidents since we have opened so we must be doing something right.

We charge double on bank holidays and Xmas day and new years day. I know a few new customers have had issues with this. At the end of the day an extra £35 for us to sacrifice our bank holiday isn't a lot. Family time is crucial! Time is invaluable and people will put a price on that as they please. For us it's double. Just want to say it's not the entirety of the board it's just double on that specific day. Hopefully that makes sense. We have had a few people have issues but my question to them is what cost would they put on their time with family and friends?

We go above and beyond our last day off was May the 15th and we are now in the middle of July. 💙

Hopefully it's all interesting and informative. We do apologise to the dog owners of those breeds that they can't home board with us but it doesn't mean we won't look after them in your own home /drop in on them or walk them. We are not against any breed at all.

Busy one yesterday with a future new addition in lenny. Such a lovely whippet and a rescue bless him. Still very energetic being a pup but got on really well with the rest of the pack 🐶💙

Daisy hurt her Dew claw again but luckily just caught it and caused a small wound. She's back on her feet again today luckily these pesky dew claws are so problematic for our Miss Daisy 😅🙄💙

Sky, Bertie and Millie all got along and had lovely trots on our field and chilled out come the evening time. Millie goes home today and we now have Lilah to stay with us such a lovely doggie and fits right in with us so loving we love Schnauzers such placid doggies. 😍😍

The garden is getting together now and will upload photos soon once we add the finished touches. A little more for our fur babies to wonder and play 😍

Quick short update as its been a busy week and much needed rest. We are in the progress of adding a few things to the garden for the doggies and refreshing the bark and thank you to all of our customers for helping us improve and invest in the business! It's a black and white kinder day with the weather being as miserable as can be but who cares when you have all these gorgeous pooches to shine a light through the miserableness! 😍

Busy day today last minute booking with Bella. She goes back tonight bless her she's done really well as its been about 3months since we have last had her. Fitted right back into it and even more playful this time round.

Mrs Peck finished her Pet Sit and drop ins with Rupert and walkies with Tyson. Bodhi still weary of short nose breeds but making progress bless her. 😍

Our Spaniel is heading home on friday night he's entering his 2nd week with his parents away in Oz for 3weeks a rare occasion for them but they are loving their holidays knowing there fur baby is safe and sound.

Yesterday we have had a busy day with our Pet Sitting and walks plus doggies at home. Mrs Peck is now looking after Kylo and Nova whilst Mr Peck is sitting and looking after the doggies at our home.

Jack was brilliant with our daughter yesterday such a lovely GSD 😍

Kylo and Nova doing fabulous at there pet sit with Mrs Peck such good dogs plenty of play and fuss for them 😍

We have had kimi for her trial a lovely Doberman 😍 there's a few teething issues we need to address on but hopefully we will get there with her.... It's important to know that some dogs take a little bit of time. She's made progress today so that's the important thing 🤞 Only time will tell but she is such a loving, gentle giant and placid I absolutely adore her 💙. With progress in mind I'm sure she will adapt to this environment and be okay for future stays with us just needs to learn interaction with the doggies as she's so big 🤣

Lovely Pet sit with Kylo and Nova such beautiful and well behaved doggies!

Our spaniel and Toby have been playing together really well and now Toby has gone Paddy doesn't know what to do with himself so Mrs Peck has kept him on his toes with some new toys plus our dogs will play more now they have new toys to play with 😍 constantly on the go here at Mr&Mrs Pecks if we feel that boredom could be a thing we do everything to prevent it from happening. This may mean an extra walk if it helps as we know our dogs like their rest 😂 or mental stimulation through licky matts or hide and seek with treaties 👌

Everyone loving life at Mr&Mrs Pecks today. 3 doggies all clambering on top of me to rest I must have the comfiest legs going. Toby enjoyed Mrs Pecks legs to get some peace from the others 😅 our spaniel and Bailey loving life they are such best mates 😍lovely to see.

We had Jack and Rupert today before I headed off to my pet sit with Kylo and Nova. Jack's such a handsome chappie and Rupert well my word that boy is growing so fast 😍😍
