It always hurts when we have to say goodbye to our friends. Being a dog groomer isn’t just a couple hour session for a hair cut, it’s bonding, listening to one another, testing eachother (this boy definitely tested me 😂), breaking boundaries and trusting one another. These session are so special especially as a 1-2-1 groomer.

🚨Maternity Leave Update🚨

Hello all,

Hope you are all doing well and finally enjoying the sunshine ☀️

I had every intention to returning back to work this Spring, however, it’s been harder than I expected to try and get Callum into nursery! At this moment in time I still do not have an estimated return date but I will get in contact with you individually when it is possible for me to come back into the salon.

My work phone will remain off as I enjoy this short time with my little family.

🚨TEMPORARILY CLOSED🚨

Dear Clients,

The Shaggy Dog Grooming Salon is now temporarily closed whilst we wait for the imminent arrival of our baby.

At this present time, I do not know how long the salon will be closed for but I do know that I will be enjoying time with my family and will return when I am ready to do so. Therefore, please wait for myself to contact you when we are ready for your return. My work phone will be switched off and I will not be responding to any enquires during this time.

I would like to thank you all for being so amazing and I'm very grateful to have you as my clients. I look forward to seeing you all in the near future!

I’m officially FULLY BOOKED until I go onto Maternity leave in October🤰I do ask that you try not to move or swap your appointments as I can not guarantee I can make this happen.

There is a cancellation list open if you wished to be placed onto this just in case something does come available. Please note this is only for current clients.

As of the week commencing 24th July to 5th September I will be dropping down to two days a week (Wednesday and Thursday), due to the school holidays.

I will be working longer hours during these weeks to do my upmost to have as many appointments in the day as I can.

So always please ensure you have a minimum of ONE advance appointment to avoid disappointment.

A £10.00 non refundable deposit is required to book any appointment.

I would also like to remind clients that cancellations without a 48 hour notice will incur a 50% charge. Less than 24 hours will incur 100% fee of the appointment.

Apologies for the radio silence! With medical appointments 🩺 and house renovations 🔨happening I’ve just not had the extra time to post content. Thank you to my clients for changing their appointments around it’s most appreciated 🐾

Just a few general updates:

⚠️ ONGOING ROAD CLOSURE ⚠️

If you are coming from Horncastle Road, there are diversions in place, however, you can come onto the Horncastle road via Raynard Lane. Ignore the suggested route towards Donington on Bain and just carry straight on. This will bring you the other side of the road closure.

🔨HOUSE RENOVATIONS🔨
Hoping that there shouldn’t be any disruptions whilst the works go ahead. If there is you will of course be informed as soon as possible. Clients will be able to continue to park on the drive for drop off and collection.
