The Masterson Method is a unique method of bodywork that recognizes and then follows the visual responses of the horse to touch, to find and release accumulated muscle and structural stress in key junctions of the horse's body that most affect performance. This Method creates an interaction between the horse and
practitioner in which the horse participates in the process of release. It is an
equally effective technique for any equine discipline. Due to its intuitive, gentle and interactive nature, it is a wonderful way to increase trust, bonding and understanding between human and horse.
No matter how perfect the conformation on a horse, no horse is symmetrical. Tension patterns in the muscles and connective tissues of the joints can form simply from any repetitive work (and of course from any injury or pain). These tension patterns create restrictions in the junctions of the horse’s body which can then restrict movement and affect performance. The horse reaches a point where he can’t completely release this stress or tension on his own, even after the work, injury or pain that caused the pattern is gone. This bodywork searches out those tension patterns and facilitates the release of those restrictions

Hi lou took pearl to dressage today (first time I'd ridden her since the treatment). She was so much more open and free moving and much more settled in her rhythm. We scored a nice 65% and came 4th
Best trot she's ever done and we scored 7 on 4 of our movements. We've never achieved a 7
Hi Lou, just a quickie to say Roo was great today. Was moving a lot freer and his hindlegs were tracking straighter than I've ever seen them!! There was only a very slight deviation to the midline with the near-hind and a far less swing to the outside with the off-hind.
Also going downhill he was taking more weight on the forelimbs and not sitting and holding as much in the sacroiliac/lumbar area.
Only downside is that Rachel has to hold on to the breastplate in trot cause her balance isn't quite good enough to stay with his now extra bouncy trot!!!
Thank you so much for friday, i rode today and felt like he was floating he was soft, on the contact and in an outline from the word go, and great leg yield in all three paces

So today both me and Emma were amazed with the results from Lottie's Masterson Method treatment! We've never seen anything like it, the mare that's a pain in the bum to catch, to pick her feet out etc has transformed! She was so tight and sore from having so many babies her body needed a rest and needed to heal, Lou Wilks was absolutely fab with her and I would recommend her to absolutely anyone and everyone with a horse, having never seen the treatment before we were apprehensive as to how the mare would react, but there were no issues... She loved it, in fact we know she loved it that much she's booked in for another treatment in 3 weeks time, very excited to see how this technique effects all of our horses!
