2019 registered large Welsh part bred gelding (TB X WC)
15.1hh (not properly measured, and he is bum high again)

By the amazing LLANARTH STEPTOE who has had a very successful ridden career and out of the beautiful TB mare, Cutter.
This has been a heartbreaking decision 💔
I bred him for me to keep as a mother/daughter share but my heart is ruling my head and I’m going to keep another homebred.
I’m heartbroken as I adore this little horse.
There is just so much to like about him.
He fills the eye and to me he is a beautiful stamp and a useful sort.
I am and always will be proud to be his breeder 🧡
His colour is an added bonus. He would look really smart plaited up and extra smart in the the working hunter 😍

He is a lovable do**us, he is always pulling a silly face to make you smile. He is a big character but so kind.

He is UNBROKEN (and untried) this is due to me either being broken, pregnant and now just busy with uni and work (it’s been a busy couple of years 🙈)
Personally I feel that being unbroken is a bonus, he has been allowed to mature at his own pace and not pushed or rushed.

We did play around with him last year and he had tack on, he wasn’t fazed at all, in fact it was my daughter who did it all and she was 9 at the time.
He’s very easy to handle, comes running when called.
Lives out 24/7 but again happy to come in and chill or for farrier etc.

He is a beautiful mover. Covers the ground and has 3 lovely straight paces.

He will need someone who is confident and used to dealing with young horses, he isn’t nasty or naughty (my daughter handles him and I trust him) but he takes his confidence from the handler (the Welsh in him)

He hasn’t left the farm since we moved here in 2021. He can be stubborn to load but after moving here I worked with him a little bit and had him loading quietly on and off the trailer I had great intentions of showing him in 2022 but I broke my leg January 2022 🙄 then had a baby 2023 🙈
I honestly haven’t tried loading him since the. then but will get him used to things again in preparation for finding his new home.

He does have some small flat sacroids, these have just become apparent a couple of months ago after loosing his winter fluff, they shouldn’t affect his ridden career, I haven’t treated them at all, pictures can provided if you are interested.

He will be fabulous, I know he will be. He has a good brain and potential to go really far with the right person.

We want a knowledgeable long term loving home for this much adored horse.

So in summary
He is a beautiful horse, with the potential to do anything and do it well 🥰
He is lovable with a super nature and very kind.
He is correct and a super mover.
He is unspoilt and ready to crack on and do a job.
He is currently sound, healthy. No vices. Good to handle, catch, for farrier.

If I don’t think you are right for him I will also say. This has been a very hard decision for me.
