The Kennel Clubs new figures reveal that there are 46 Breeds of dogs currently the highest at risk of becoming wiped out in the UK.
Scottish Terriers have been added to the list, with just 406 puppy births in 2023! The Kennel Club’s Vulnerable British and Irish Breeds list was created in 2004 in order to highlight the breeds that had fewer than 300 annual puppy registrations. An ‘At Watch’ list was also created for those with 300-450 annual registrations. Three other British breeds have entered the ‘At Watch’ list for the first time. LThe Pointer has been added to the list, with just 437 puppy registrations in 2023, alongside the Rough Collie (431 registrations) and Wire Fox Terrier (378 registrations). Overall this means there are now more breeds classed as ‘At Watch’ and ‘Vulnerable’ than ever before!

Good evening everyone! Starting the week off with Introducing our new team member & pack members! Please give a warm welcome to Angel, Frank & Alan!

Some fun facts about our new pack members -
Alan is roughly 13 years old and my first rescue. He turned out to be a mix of Pug, Jack Russell, & Cavalier King Charles. He loves all soft toys the bigger the better and always gifts one to mum when she comes home in exchange for kisses and a butt rub.
Frank is 7 but looks older as he's so grey, probably because he runs around doing everything at 90miles an hour. His dna turned out to be Pug, Frenchie and Boston Terrier. He loves all kinds of chews particularly Yakers and will spin around in excitement for a loaded lickimat. 💙
