We have been very quiet on our social media lately... been very busy behind the scene working on all your lovely orders! 👍
We had a lovely client ask us to make her a sun canopy for her poor horse that was getting baked with the sun.... she sent over a drawing of what she wanted.... And Hey Presto.... Here it is.... A happy client and a very happy and cool horse! 🐴☀️
If your horse is in the same position, head over to our website... we have added sun canopies to our shop.
You can choose your fabric and webbing and also have it personalised. They have eyelets round all edges to enable attachment to your stable.

2 stables have became available at our yard.. pm for info or to view. X 🐴🐴

What we supply at Gateside Farm, Stewarton.

- you only need to come up once a day, as we feed & hay all horses morning & night if you preferred.

- we close up the yard with one more night check to ensure all are happily tucked up.

- we have facilities for young, middle aged & older horses.

- our newly resurfaced arena has an all weather surface to ensure that all year round you are able to ride, which also had brand new lights installed this year. We also have our surfaced hard standing which also is all weather. This ensured that even in the worst of weather, your horse is still able to get out for a stretch.

- all year turnout! This is a must with our horses as it’s important for you owners to ensure your horses have the option to go out & socialise. Incase of any horse becoming unwell or needing any type of rehab, we are able to offer a small grass paddock to introduce them back onto grass.

- hay, haylage & bedding all sourced locally so you don’t have to make trips to & from the shop. Option to have feed deliveried to the yard also.

- whiteboards with all information regarding appointments, lessons & daily livery requests as well as emergency numbers.

- instructors weekly visit & also with an instructor onsite but all are welcome. No need to book the arena, just pop it on our boards and everyone will be sure to respect your time.

- field groups to ensure your horse is comfortable with the company. We are able to swap around horses incase any conflicts occur.

- road hacking on quiet country roads for miles. Small fraction of off-road hacking available if you’d prefer a fast kind of hack.

- if no horses are in the summer fields then liveries are welcome to ride down there. This year we will be setting a course up when the good weather comes in to have a change of scenery for the horses (something a little different)

- full selection of jumps available to use at your own will. New poles where purchased last year & light jump for joy jump wings to match.

- wash bay with cross ties available & also a tie up area for vet, clipping, farrier, grooming etc.. We are hoping to have hot water put in this year!

- we have a worming program that all horses fall into. This ensures that there in no need to go purchase unneeded wormers if the count comes back low/normal.

-muck heap doesn’t require to be forked back as we dump on top of it off a ledge. It is also emptied yearly.

- all fields are well maintained by our local farmer. Both summer fields have a running stream so no need to carry heavy water buckets to & from the field.

All of these points are based on questions we have been asked in the past about Gateside. We aim to have a relaxed atmosphere where people can enjoy their horses without pressure. Family run business for the past 7 years with plenty of experience in horses.
