I realised I have not done a proper portrait of Dali, I've sketched him lots but recently took the time to do a couple of pictures. I couldn't decide between English or Spanish so had to do both!!!!

I had a fantastic time teaching the watercolour course at Stoke Ferry. A lovely group of people and had some great feedback. Looking forward to the next one. Here are a selection of some of the watercolours from the group. Well done and keep painting.

I've recently gone back to my original love of drawing and completed a couple of pictures of animals I have never done before. Don't know why, as they have been great to do, especially capturing the expressions. Also still experimenting with the metallic leaf, who knew it came in so many colours!

Your sketch book is an invaluable tool. When using, make sure to put lots of notes, these can be just as important as the sketches for working up a bigger picture.

Loved doing this picture, a mix of watercolour and pens. I wonder what the old masters would have made of some of the new innovations in artist materials.

Anyone who knows me will know I love a challenge. Anything that is highly detailed I love, and elephants have to be one of the most difficult. This is a mixture of older and more recent work in pencils through to watercolour and pen, including some gold leaf.

Just done a wet felting course which was fantastic fun. I'm loving a different medium to work in. I have completed a couple of pictures already and hope to sell some in the future.
