Bilton Kennels & Cattery

Bilton Kennels & Cattery Bilton Kennels is a small family run Kennels & Cattery. We are a small family run kennels and cattery.

We have longer than most kennels opening times with no specific time to drop off/pick up/view as long as it is within our normal opening times. Dogs are individually exercised up to 5 times per day (weather permitting)starting at 6am. We are currently expanding our cattery and the new units should be available for bookings February/March 2018.

After a roller coaster year which all my regular customers will be fully aware of, I am pleased to announce we now have five more kennels licensed which hopefully will help next year flow better than this. My thanks to Daryl at DL Timber Developments for constructing the building for us to fit out as five kennels. Looking forward to 2024 and to welcoming all my customers, old and new. I wish everyone a great Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

It’s very rare but we have just had a cancellation for one kennel at Christmas (up until 30th) so if you haven’t been able to get your furry friend sorted for visiting family and friends at Christmas, why not get in touch and we’ll see what we can do for you.

This is Bear. He is one our Walkies Gang. Whilst we were abroad, his owner used another walking company temporarily and Bear was lost. He was last seen by the walker, swimming in distress, in Holderness Drain at the top of Bransholme Road, Hull on Thursday 6th October around 1130am. There have been no sightings since.

Of course, we hope and pray that Bear managed to get out of the water, and this is the route that his owners wish to pursue. They have asked for our assistance in keeping Bear at the forefront of our community. Over the next few weeks, our clients will each be receiving a small number of flyers. We ask you to please distribute these as creatively as possible. Feel free to duplicate and distribute as many as you wish.

Whilst we appreciate the overwhelming efforts in the searches so far, we feel it is important to remember the seriousness of what’s happened here. The authorities seem to have things in hand in regards to the possibility of theft or that someone is holding Bear. The fire brigade has searched the water and the shrubbery to no avail, but please bare in mind that even with the most advanced equipment available, the window to find someone beneath a body of water is no more than a couple of minutes.

We ask for your help. Please keep your eyes and ears open within your communities. Look twice at any Frenchie matching Bear’s description. Talk about Bear, keep his story alive. Whilst out on your walks, look into the water. Listen for unusual noise or activity in the shrubbery along the banks.

Your efforts may well assist in the safe return of Bear, for which there is already a reward waiting. At the very least, we may get some answers for his family, who have really been through enough. Should anyone wish to remain anonymous, who knows a little more than they perhaps have let on, or could have witnessed anything that can assist in the effort to find Bear feel free to telephone 07584038543 or 07780467741. Here at Hannabee, we are not involved with any form of police investigation. We are here because, like all of our Walkies gang, Bear is family.

Take a good look at Bear. There is no love on earth like the love of a good dog. Let’s not let his story remain without an ending.

With heartfelt thanks

Hannah & Dan. 💔

This is a post from HDM recently, if anyone is looking for a new doggie, maybe give the rescue centre involved a call and help some of these doggies find homes. The rescue centre is called MANY TEARS RESCUE, I believe it's in Wales

The dogs were to be trained as service bomb- or drug-dogs but are now no longer needed

We have been notified of some road works/ closures on Main Road, Bilton that may affect access to the kennels.

From Sunday 30th January to Monday 14th February (approx) road works will be taking place. Most of the road closures are from 18:00 until 23:00 but there is a section that will be closed for the duration (Limetree Lane to Holmes Lane) affecting our customers coming to us from the villages.

Please allow extra time for your journey if you are coming to pick up and drop off pets as it will no doubt be busier than usual for the duration.

We have just had a cancellation for two kennels over the Christmas period so if anyone needs a booking for that timeframe get in touch as when they're gone, they're gone. I would also like to take this opportunity to wish all my customers a Happy Christmas and New Year and to say a big thank you for your custom over these uncertain times :)

🐱 FOUND 🐱
This lovely elderly lady was found in the middle of the road down Keldgate on Thursday, where someone brought her to our practice for care. She has no visible injuries, she just appears to be a sweet elderly girl who must be missing!
She unfortunately have no microchip or collar on!
So please do your amazing thing and share this post to help get her home 🥰

Has the thought of placing your cat in a cattery that also has kennels worried you because of noise levels from the dogs? Listen to this, our kennels are reasonably busy right now but rest assured, your cat’s tranquility will not be disturbed, I could listen to this all day long and I am sure your cat’s would love it too.
