Visit our drive-through reserve with us ๐ซ
Our vast reserve is home to roaming herds of Przewalski's wild horses, bison, deer, elk and vicuna.
Didn't spot everything on your first loop? You can drive around as many times as you like throughout your visit ๐
Everybody say โbless you, Dierdre!โ ๐ซ๐คง
Sven's antlers are in the final stage before his velvet sheds. The blood vessels are slowing down and will soon die. Next, the velvet will come off and he will be left with 'hard antler' ๐ฆ
If you spot pink stuff on his antlers, it's Equi-salve to keep the flies away! ๐ชฐ

๐ต After continued help from BH Wildlife Consultancy we were able to follow the macaque for 45 minutes yesterday using drones. Unfortunately, he wasnโt in a position where we were confident we could bring him in safely but he is making his way closer to the park. Our team will be out again today but given the high winds we wonโt be able to fly the drones but will be using thermal imaging cameras.
Weโre continuing to ask locals to please bring any obvious potential food sources like bird feeders or food waste inside. Although the macaque is not presumed dangerous to humans or pets, our advice is to not approach him but to contact our hotline on 07933928377 with any sightings.
Thank you to keeper Judith for this lovely video of Aleksander enjoying the recent dusting of snow we've had at the park โ๏ธ๐ป
Did you know Amur tigers have the thickest and palest orange coat with the fewest stripes to help them stay warm and blend in to snowy surroundings?
Help us name one of our Arctic fox cubs ๐
Following their first health check we are delighted to share we have four girls and a boy! Keepers have shortlisted three names for one of the girls.
Vote for your favourite name before 12pm on Monday 31 July ๐ forms.gle/GJx2TEoRWpf4DHyCA ๐พ
Feeding time with our Arctic fox family!
At two months old, our Arctic fox cubs are now starting to eating solid foods - just like mum and dad. First-time parents Jack and Sarah are doing a great job ๐
How sweet are our baby Japanese macaques? ๐ฅน๐

๐งข Wear suitable clothing
๐งด Apply then reapply your sun cream
We're delighted to share that our Eurasian elk pair, Raven and Ash, have welcomed twins! Both calves are doing very well and will be named by our keepers in the coming weeks ๐ซ๐ซ
Historically native to Scotland, Eurasian elk are the largest living deer species and are still found across much of Europe.
Although our elk are one of the tallest animals here at the park, they are masters of camouflage and can be difficult to spot! We recommend anyone trying to spot our new family be patient and visit the drive-through reserve a couple of times throughout their visit for the best chance of seeing them up and about ๐
