I often get asked… “what do you feed your dogs and where do you buy it from” I feed skinners working dog food and as you can see my dogs absolutely love it. I buy all my feed from Peckfield Farm Produce they have a huge selection of animal feed and the staff are lovely. #skinnersfieldandtrial. Matting…..it’s a “sore” subject
Matting is avoidable, when you maintain a good routine and brush your dog’s coat properly between grooming appointment’s.
Unfortunately once a dogs coat gets to this point there is very little the groomer can do, other than clip off the whole coat to avoid unnecessary suffering.
Professional groomers are governed by the Animal Welfare Act and live by the rule of, Humanity before vanity.
