Wow what can I say it'l be one year in July since I officially opened. I can not express my gratitude enough to all my friends and family. It hasn't been without hard work and a lot of tears and of course much excitement 😄. With everyone here being a network of love and a shoulder to cry on and a shove when iv needed 💪 and a thank you for all the times I asked the same question or moaned about something most grand or most trivial 😘

From volunteering for almost a year being tought so much from a friend within their own little local salon and her on going friendship and support when iv needed, I wouldn't be where I am today without this 💐.

To the support of my family and friends in so many ways, their patience love and support including my Logo build and design and making this all come true, I absolutely love my little grooming hut and meeting and grooming your dogs. ♥️🌸

Thank you to the grooming school where I was able to build further confidence through a network to meet more friends and fellow groomers and to reach out to other local groomers within leven and over Scotland, allowing me to see what a wonderful small yet large network of support there is to be had within the grooming community. 🐾🐶

Most of all though is a massive thank you to my clients past, present and future, non of this of course could be done without all you guys on board. 💖
As a big thank you I have a little surprise coming shortly in July so watch this space and look out for the post 🎉.

What a warm start to the week we had 🥵. These 2 little cuties certainly live up to their names as boisterous brothers, rough and tumble, oh so cuddling and caring 🤗 🐾💙.
They came for their first cut in the hut they will certainly be feeling cooler and fresher.

Muds baths have arrived!
I have begun to introduce the mud bath treatment into the salon. While these are becoming very popular to many it's still very new to others. To explain grooms with soothing or deep cleansing shampoos and using correct methods to deshed prove to be an immense noticeable help to the owner maintaining their pets at home, adding mud baths to their treatment can go that bit further with really beautiful outcomes for you and your pet.

Oh the mass of hair is so very real for the shepherd and double coat owners of the world. For anyone who owns these sorts of breeds knows only too well the mass of hair that accumulates not only on your carpet, furniture, clothing, car but in many aspects of life.
Brendo comes in regularly for a good de-shed groom but with all this heat it was decided to see how the coat would compare with using a mud bath. We began preparing, suited, booted and happy hooded for the dryer and I have to say a huge difference was noticed not only on the amount that came off after the mud rinse but how much the coat felt free of any loose guard hair and undercoat.

It was a well earned rest in front of the air conditioner after this groom for Brendo.

Well today I welcomed the first two doggies for the summer de-shedding mud baths.
Wee Biff attended the Grooming Hut, his first time in the groomers and with all the attention enjoyed his mud bath massage and came away looking and feeling summer fresh.

India was a little unsure about having her photo taken but with her summer fresh cut to help her keep cool she was super confident and posing for a picture before heading home. 😀🐾💗

Lilly came in for a shampoo and tidy today. She was super cute and so gentle, we even had time for a cuddle before Mum came to collect her.

Little puppy Poppy was a real flower girl who was in for her big girl groom and cuddles today, even enjoying a wee marshmallow facial. She did so well.
During the appointment each step was done in stages giving her breaks in between so she didn't feel overwhelmed helping her stay relaxed

Beautiful little boy Blue was in with his sister Poppy who was looking pretty in pink for their first summer hair cut in the Hut. 😎☀️
What a delightful happy little pair to spend my Saturday morning with.
Poppy however couldn't decide which was her best side during her mini photoshoot while Blue was too cool to worry about that and ready to get down rocking his fresh style. 🐾🐩

Brendo was in for his bath and de-shed.
With this milder weather we are beginning to have, a routine grooming maintenance both at home and in the salon can really help dogs that cast hair feel more comfortable while maintaining healthy skin and healthy hair growth 🐾🐶 .

Little Tia is a simple girl who likes a no fuss short and easy style so she can run about without worrying about her Goldilocks hair getting tangled up.
She came in for her summer holiday short and sweet clip down not only helping her keep cool leading up to the hotter months but also feeling a little cool too 😎🌞🐾🐩

Do you know ? Dogs with a yellow collar /lead / bandana /coat generally means “Please do not approach” .. it can be for a variety of reasons as well as anxious dog eg service dog, dog recovering from injury, dog in training

BOOKING POLICY.

Due to the amount of no shows recently I'll need to put in place my policies for bookings, cancellations and no show appointments.
Of course we all know emergencies happen and some thing's can't be helped however I am unable to sustain and run my small business without my clients and having enough time to fill the appointment spot should someone not show up for their appointment.

I am in full support of cash only use for our local small businesses and so when paying deposits by cash a receipt will be organised upon booking next appointment or I will send over my bank details if this is preferred and once deposit is received via bank payment I will confirm your appointment in my diary and send you booking confirmation by text.

Bookings:
Upon booking you will be asked to pay a £25 deposit with a 48 hour cancelation in place.

Weekends:
As some of you may already know weekends are spent working my second job out with the dog grooming.
Like booking another groom last minute I am not always able to obtain a last minute shift but I am also aware for some, weekends are easier to fit appointments for their dog grooms than weekdays.
I am more than happy to arrange a Saturday booking however full groom price will be required upon booking with a 48 hour cancellation in place.
