Hi all!
I've been super busy lately with lots of special animals. Here is a boy who has history of being anxious and not dealing with it in the best way. We've built a super bond and his behaviour has improved massively with consistency from his amazing owners and myself!
I walk several reactive pooches and love to see the difference in them after 🥰

I hope you're all doing well and staying as safe as possible 🙂
This picture was taken today on a beautiful and quiet walk. I'm so lucky to have access to such stunning countryside 🥰
Just a reminder that I'm only walking for key workers at the minute. I'm really sorry to anyone this effects but unfortunately it's for not only my safety, but yours too. Hopefully we can all get abit of normality back soon!

Reactive dogs aren't always going to bite, but they do need more time and space to get used to a situation. I myself have a reactive dog and I walk other reactive dogs too. They aren't nasty, they just get anxious. They can actually be some of the most playful and energetic when they've relaxed!
Please be thoughtful to others, sometimes an owner might appreciate abit more time and understanding to help their dog overcome these anxieties, but an owner might also just need to be left alone to keep control of the situation. 😊

This boy never fails to make me smile, I'm not sure if he looks at me like I'm crazy or he's enjoying my chatting when we walk together ❤️

I love my days with these boys 😍
We go on lots of adventures and try to vary our walks together.
Lead walking can be just as important as off lead play and these boys are both fantastic at walking on the lead 😁 🐾

A little message from Betty's Pet Care.

I'm missing all my favourite little animal friends and their wonderful owners lots. I hope you're all staying safe and well.

Hopefully we will all be able to return to some kind of normality soon, but I just want to say a huge thank you for your understanding in my decision to close temporarily. Its not only for the safety my family, but for the safety of yours too.

I will be sending messages out to current clients over the next week, with more details of future plans.

Unfortunately I am now unable to offer help with pet care or walks for at least, the next 3 weeks.

As hard as this is for everyone, it's absolutely crutial we follow all guidance and stay indoors as much as possible. If it's necessary for us to go out, then we must social distance.

Let's all work together and hopefully, we can be enjoying some summer sun in the next few months, back on our local parks. ☀️

CORONAVIRUS!

I am continuing to offer my services through the current situation. However, I do have 2 young children to consider, so services may be slightly affected depending on school closures etc. 🛑

I will do my very best to keep to all appointment times as normal as possible, but will inform all clients individually if there is any change. 🕒

Finally, if you are self isolating please let me know so I am more prepared to collect your dog. I understand your 4 legged friends still need their daily exercises, whether that is mental or physical 🤸‍♂️
