Simonswood Riding Academy is now open! Learn to ride a horse in beautiful surroundings. Equiped with Simonswood Riding Academy is not just a riding school.

Its also place were people come to indulge in their love of horses. We are a Pony Club centre and We provide horse riding lessons at all levels. Our Instructors are all fully qualified. We have a indoor arena and an outdoor arena so we are an all weather riding school. We do Fun Weeks on half term breaks! We are available to take booking for children's pony party's, with a great party room for hours of fun. We will guarantee your kids will love it!!! contact Lisa for more details.

All our love goes out to all those affected by the horrendous event that has taken place in southport today. ❤️ you are all in our thoughts.

Due to this, the way we organise our fun day activities, dropping off and picking up, etc, will be changed for the protection and security of all children taking part. Once we have set out the new criteria, and a risk assessment has been carried out, we will inform all clients. Cant believe that this is something we need to implement for the future. Thank you. X

🤠Attention cow boys and cow girls your invited to our summer hoedown🤠

This will take place on Friday 16th of August this will include ;

•Summer hoedown dance.
•Different stalls.
•Face painting.
•Hobby horsing.
•Treasure hunt.
•Games.
•Prize for the best dressed.
•Raffle tickets will be sold on the day.
•Tombola.
•Much more fun activities when you arrive.

All of this just for £60 per child for the whole day!!!!!
Food and beverages will be sold on site.

Gates will open at 12pm and will finish at 6pm.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!!!!

Unfortunately, due to rising cost's we have been left with no option to Increase the cost of our lessons. We have been trying to avoid this Increase, but rising cost's of hay, straw, feed, wages insurance etc.... the list is endless, has made this unavoidable. The price increases will be brought into effect on Monday 29th July.
We know how everyone is struggling at the moment, so we have kept the Increase as low as possible.
The Increase will be £2.50 on each lesson. New prices will be as follows:

Group lesson £25.00
Semi private £27,50
Private lesson £35.00

We hope that this Increase will not effect our client’s too much. Thank you for your understanding. ❤️

We have a couple of beginners assessment lessons available Saturday 22nd June due to cancellations through illness/away if anyone would like one rider must be 5yrs old & over, also 1 assessment lesson on a canter lesson rider must be able to canter individually and without holding the saddle

Hope everyone is looking forward to the show today we start at 10 o'clock and the riders do their ridden class then we break for lunch and they do the Inhand section in the afternoon, if anyone is feeling nervous don't we explain everything to each group and everyone gets a rosette

We are holding a Family Open Day at the stables this coming Bank holiday Monday 6th May everyone is welcome, there will be lots to do including
Donkey rides - 3.00

Bouncy Castle 3.00 and more....

There will also be a raffle 5.00 per ticket
Prizes are 1st Pony Day (value 45.00) minimum age required no cash alternative
2nd Private lesson (value 32.50) minimum age required no cash alternative

We are going to be adding a few more lessons as demand is greater than availability at the moment, there will be an adults lesson available during the week, another lead lesson for children & trot/canter lesson for older riders if you would be interested in any of these lessons can you comment on this post or message, we are sorry there are no private or semi private lessons available
**As we don't take children under 5yrs of age for riding lessons but have so much interest in lessons for them we can now offer a 10 minute donkey ride for 5.00 on one of our fabulous donkeys these will be done at walk only and we would need to know in advance if you would like your little one to ride
**We can also offer 30 minute groom and pamper with our minature shetland ponies 15.00
** Donkeys are also available for hire for fete's, parties and other celebrations

We will be starting the helper experience days again so if you wanted to be put on the list for one of these days please comment on this post
The day will run from 10 o'clock till 3 o'clock and the children will get the full experience of what it is like to be a helper and is more hands on than a pony day so we can't take any younger children sorry, cost is 50.00 for the 5 hours

Easter holiday activities
We have 2 Pony Days planned at the moment Wednesday 3rd April & Wednesday 10th April, 45.00 from 10 o'clock until 2 o'clock children 8yrs & over
Children need a packed lunch, wellies or similar and waterproof coat and already be having lessons with us

This Sunday is Mothers Day and we understand some people will be making plans to spoil their mum's so can clients let us know in advance if they can't make their lesson we need 24hrs notice, cancellations on the day or no show will be charged unfortunately before rebooking, we can also see if there's any availability on Saturday lessons just this weekend
