I had the purrrsure of caring for these two lovelies while their owner was on holiday. Max has some extra special needs due to his medical condition. It was great to use my Vet Nursing skills to ensure he received his daily medication and monitor his health to make sure he remained happy and healthy ❤️

Seeing these lovely ladies every morning the past week really brightens the day 🐔 🐥 ❤️

I'm so proud of this goofball. He's improved so much since our first walk together. He's slowly building his confidence up around dogs and we are starting to get closer to some dogs with less negative reactions. We have done this through a combination of- -Keeping at a safe and comfortable distance so he can observe other doggies and not feel threatened. - Quiet walks where we walk in areas without his triggers and he can just be his silly self. -Fun, engaging walks where he can play and let off some steam. -Practising his 'come' command with high value treats and special toys.

It's nice to have company sometimes and these two are the perfect pair ❤️

Leo dog watching

So we've been working on helping Leo feel a bit more comfortable around all those 'scary' dogs. We found the perfect place he can play and have fun, whilst other dogs walk past at a safe distance for him, hopefully if we keep his interactions as relaxed as possible in an area he feels safe, he might learn not all dogs are scary 🐾

Lungworm cases have been increasing in London and Kent. Just this year alone, I have seen an increase in the number of patients brought into Veterinary practices with these symptoms and then being diagnosed with Lungworm. Sadly in some cases the dog has been left untreated for too long and have died as a result of this deadly parasite. The worst thing is its completely preventable and is included in a variety of flea and worm treatments that you can purchase from your Vets. The best way to tackle this parasite is too -Administer regular flea and worm treatment brought from your Vets (ask if it covers lungworm) -If you notice any of the symptoms in this video talk to your Vet, don't delay.
