When temperatures are high, dogs are unable to regulate their body temperature through panting, so they overheat and can develop heatstroke in as little as 15 minutes. Here are a few tell-tale signs of heatstroke:

🐾 Heavy panting with bright red or blue gums
🐾 Fitting
🐾 Diarrhoea
🐾 Vomiting
🐾 The dog appears drowsy or is losing consciousness

If your dog is showing signs of heatstroke, contact your vet immediately.
