Good Afternoon,

You may have noticed I had not returned from maternity leave from July 2023 and not had any new stock since January 2023 and its with great sadness Confident Equine will not be reopening in the near future.

Its been a great pleasure bringing you my clothing range over the few years of trading, I got to see wonderful events at many trade stands and met many wonderful people and had great customers over the years - many of those became repeat and of course my huge achievement of diversity in business award winner of 2022.

If anything changes in the future I will be sure to let you know.

Hi all,

In the current cost of living crisis and recently having a baby its become sadly unaffordable to return to the business from my current Maternity leave, times are tough for all of us and I can’t justify raising my prices and losing my affordability aspect for my customers. At this time, this will just stand that I will be taking a longer maternity leave until end of 2024 and reassess. If the cost of living has not improved this could unfortunately be an end to my business.

All current products left will have a small discount on them to clear the stock room.

Hi All,

I will be getting orders out asap, unfortunately my lovely dog has fallen very poorly and is awaiting surgery in the morning,
A poorly pup and young baby just adds to a bit of difficulty getting orders out but will aim to have everything up to date by Tuesday so still in time for Christmas.

I may well regret this post but i’m going to do it anyway, I’m constantly asked “what made me want to start my brand” this is it, I’ve always been on the larger side into my late teen/early 20s life. Then having a baby happened and i’m now 2 months post partum and can’t lose any of it. I had one ride on my pony for the first time in 11 months and looked at myself terribly, then I remembered every time I would see others being so cruel to other people, combine this with lack of diverse models from well known brands its created such a taboo in the sport. So i’m just out here reminding myself, within reason to horse welfare of course, promoting equality should be important and I am nust as much a customer to myself needing the importance of diversity.❤️

Chloe is our newest ambassador for Confident Equine, she has a been a fantastic support of our mission and within the products and owns most of our collections! 😱 Chloe sadly lost Bounty this year but has taken on a wonderful new little lad Bertie who we are so excited to watch grow together as a team.
Chloe will be fully supported in her journey with Bertie and we look forward to watching them grow!❤️

One of my wonderful repeat customers kindly photographed and trialed our new to be releaed charcoal grey leggings. The response has been “super flattering and comfortable” so much so Rachel had no issue with me sharing these stunning photos in which i’m sure we can all agree Rachel looks totally stunning in!

Morning all!,

Bit of an important announcement, with the current financial climate of the UK it makes running a business that requires stock levels incredibly difficult particularly with a new baby! That said, I want to keep my wonderful business going and with that I have decided for at least the next restock this will be based on pre order only, all leggings/breeches will need to be preordered from this point onwards, the turnaround for my orders on pre order is approx 3 weeks so very reasonable and I will continue to offer the option to pay deposit and the rest upon arrival.
We have a new ladies leggings colour coming out and i’ll be announcing the colour and opening pre orders today - this will close Tuesday 31st October.
Same applies 10% discount and £15 deposit. Meaning the leggings will be £31.50 with £15 due at the time of the preorder.

Its coming up to a year since my small business I started not long after lock down won diversity in business award at Equestrian Business Awards 2022 which is still displayed proudly in my living room, its been a rollercoaster journey and continues to be one whilst the current climate has made it a tough journey being a small business I am continuing to keep going and continue my mission in promoting diversity within the sport.
To be able to offer what I do gives me great joy and I hope to continue to do so and to keep serving my current customers and welcome in new ones.

I’d like to pop a post out just in an informative manner regarding my business. I work hard tirelessly even through out a difficult pregnancy and currently with a newborn to ensure Confident Equine is a diverse brand, we have over 17 products which starts from uk 4 - 24, 24” - 42”. Unfortunately, the one product being our non grip which due to the waist band style would not be suitable for larger sizes without risking quality & i’d much rather sell quality products.
Its very frustrating to see small brands get unfair comments without any research on the brand when most small brands do a lot of work behind the scenes to change the scene of the equestrian world.

Confident Equine will always continue to provide diverse wear and I’m incredibly sorry if one product out of our collection does offend you - this is whole heartedly not our intention
