This beautiful 16-year old cat unfortunately was hit by a car ☹
His owner is desperately raising funds to help pay for surgery, that Little Marshall so requires. Little Marshall has 3 broken bones in his pelvis and needs to have pins placed in his pelvic area.
His owner would normally not ask for help but as he is Medically Retired, he can't work and is asking for a little support from a cat-loving community to help him and Little Marshall.
He already has sold most of his personal items to help pay for Little Marshall surgery too 🥲

He is neutered, not chipped and approximately 2 years old.
His family are missing him dearly and want him home.

As some of you know, Snowy the cat went missing on 19th April 2024. A window was accidentally left open and he escaped out the front of the house. Please know that the owners were besides themselves, and felt incredibly guilty about leaving a window open for him to escape through as they are overall very careful about their security.
On that day, we started printing leaflets, and owners were advised to immediately check the microchip details, and to mark Snowy as missing.
We all went high and low searching for dear Snowy around our busy schedules on 19th and 20th April, whilst still posting leaflets and speaking to our dear neighbours~
On 21st April, the owners did receive a call all the way from Milton Keynes! 😲 We were all incredibly shocked as to how he had gone so far~
Owners travelled all the way to the vets in Milton Keynes and were so relieved to see their Snowy~
Of course, the owners wanted to find out more information as to how Snowy ended up at the vets in Milton Keynes! And so did we!
The vets said that a suspicious-looking woman arrived at the vets with Snowy and claimed that Snowy got into the boot of her car in Wembley on the Friday, and was surprised to see a cat in her car. She refused to share any details of herself, no name, no address and no contact details. This immediately set off alarm bells for the vets and they checked his microchip and contacted the owners immediately.
We all believe, with almost great certainty, that he was picked up after he escaped and stolen with intent to use him or sell him on. Given the fact he was neutered and chipped, it is likely that the woman had realised that she couldn't make money out of him and gave him to the vets~
This could have gone in a very different direction and Snowy could have been stolen forever ☹️
This goes to show how important it is to register your chip, update it and check that the microchip is working correctly~
Thanks to the team in Milton Keynes and the microchip in Snowy, it brought him back home despite being 45 miles away
***UPDATE***
A vet all the way in Milton Keynes reached out to the owner after a woman dropped him at a 24 hour vets claiming this cat had gotten into her car~
Vets immediately felt there was something off about this person and followed procedure to scan him for a microchip~
Owner is currently on his way back with Snowy. We couldn't be more happy for the family~
We shall do a full post shortly.

He is microchipped and neutered and went missing today around the hours of 8am to 2pm today.
He has never been outside before and the owners are absolutely distraught.
He is a nervous cat. If you do sight him, please call 07944 856201 and do not chase him as he is very likely to run away.
Don’t forget! As of 10th June 2024, it’ll be mandatory to chip your cats from the age of 20 weeks 🧡✨

It has certainly been a while since our last post and we are sorry we haven't been able to update our page as much as we would like to~
In the last month or so, we have been so active in getting our cats moved to other rescues that have lovingly been able to have space for us 🥰
As we celebrate Easter, be aware of delicious human treats and gifts that could be very toxic to our beloved cats, such as: 😲
1. Chocolate Eggs
2. Raisins in hot cross buns
3. Lilies
It is best to keep the yummy human easter treats away in cupboards and to keep lilies well away from cats! The simple action of cats brushing up against flowers and then licking their fur can be fatal 😵
If you suspect that your pet is showing signs of poisoning, please seek veterinary advice immediately 👩⚕️

🧡What a manic few days!!🧡
We have been bringing cats to and fro from the wonderful Medivet South Harrow getting all the kitties up to date with vaccines, flea and worming, and all things in between!
In the last 2 weeks alone, we have managed to get 11 kitties moved on, 4 of them (ferals and semi-ferals) went off to farms and the other 7 went to the wonderful Silvana at Romney House 🥰 we will always be indebted to her kindness in opening up her spaces~

Great news, the wonderful Silvana at Romney House has kindly opened up 7 spaces for 7 kitties of Snow Paws rescue! Which is something we didn’t expect at all 🧡✨
As emotional as this is, we couldn’t be more happy for these kitties as we want them to find the best future they can possibly have 🙏
We are hoping to do some fundraising to help with the bills outstanding ✨

🧡Closing Down🧡
To all the lovely supporters~
As you can see from the title, due to a change of circumstances, it is with deep sadness that we have made the decision to close down Snow Paws Rescue.
It isn't an easy choice to make as we know the vicious cycle that is happening out in the world, and as much as we want to make a bigger difference, we just wouldn't be doing justice to the kitties that are currently in our care 🧡
We are appealing and hoping to find either homes or suitable rescue spaces for our cats, we are also happy to transport them. NOTE: Adoptions are still open to everyone!
We will provide all information/medical records if needed to ensure the best of care is transferred over.
Additionally, our vet bill is quite a big one to pay at the wonderful vets who have supported us, Medivet Hendon, Medivet South Harrow, and Two By Two Veterinary Centre. Our GoFundMe page is still running, so do feel free to donate towards it if you can to help us reach our goal!
We will start to post from tomorrow of the kitties that we will need help with finding rescue space/a wonderful home. All due diligence will be done before re-homing: home checks, neutering/spaying, microchip, flea and worming treatments, and vaccinations.

🧡In Memory of Fluffy🧡
We want to thank everyone for their support and to let you know that Fluffy passed on January 8th 2024 at Medivet Hendon~
It was hard to let go and yet it was the best decision we could have ever made for him ✨
We’d like to think he enjoyed his last few months with us, making as much memories as we could 🙏
He will always hold a special place in our hearts~
RIP Fluffy~ May you fly high over the rainbow, eat as much as you want and be free of all pain

After today’s appointment and discovery of his health changes, it is clear that it is now time to let him go~
We always knew that he was a palliative care kitty, and at the same time, he fought hard alongside me for his life and well-being. ✨
Over the Xmas period, Fluffy did show signs of change in appetite and demeanour and having more down days than up days. He chatted less and became less motivated to eat 😔
At the appointment today, he had drastically lost 20% of weight and a small tumour of was felt which explained why he had lost appetite 🙏
We could continue fighting but it just wouldn’t be fair to do that to his already weak body and it would be selfish of us to push him further when he is ready to go ✨
An appointment has been made to ceremoniously allow him to leave the physical and go to kitty heaven 🧡
Until then, we shall be making memories and cherish each and every day we have with him 🥹
Thank you Fluffy for teaching me resilience and kindness~
As this year comes to an end, we must thank all the wonderful human beings that have supported us and to the wonderful fosterers, volunteers, and adopters! 🧡✨
We have done a tremendous amount of rescuing of ferals, taken in so many surrendered cats and kittens alike 🥰
We couldn’t have done this without you all.
Ideally we would have liked to share statistics but we haven’t been able to get around to it!! So we might do it for 2024 🥳

This is the beautiful fluffy ,who is being looked after by our dedicated fosterer😻 Fluffy was living on the streets for many years ,and being feed by the local community, he unfortunately started to lose weight ,and we we're contacted Fluffy has hypothyroidism, and lymphoma, which unfortunately results in explosive 💩,fuffy is on a special diet ,and is being monitored by the vets every 3 to 4 weeks ,he is in palliative care, he is such a sweet heart We will update you on his progress
