Audacious Veg

A snapshot into our day! We've been working away clearing beds, mewsuring up, digging them to aerate the compacted soil, sowing a green manure (vetch/winter tares) to grow over the winter and build up nitrogen into the soil for next year's growing season. Our plan over the next couple of seasons is to move to a #nodig approach and build up beautiful beds bursting with life!

Last week we turned up to lots of dead and bolted plants, this week our water butt for watering the unbearably hot polytunnel bursts. It appears July is not our month! 🤔

Winter salads, gently blowing in the wind - so much better than conservatories blowing in the wind!
