Great comfort and great quaity
I use this lead to walk my large and very boisterous dog. As a pup we tried her with a harness but she pulled too much, simply because the harness didn't give her any notion that she was dragging us around after her. Walking was not an enjoyable experience for any of us as a family. After speaking to our dogs breeder he recommended trying a 'slip lead'. I initially bought one from the local pet shop and noticed an almost immediate improvement in my dogs on lead behaviour. Her pulling became far more manageable but the lead itself, essentially a rough piece of rope, wasn't a nice thing to hold onto. The lead also quickly developed 'wear marks' where the lead had become twisted whilst on walks. I came across Long Paws at a trade event and immediately new that their lead would be an improvement. The Long Paws slip lead is far and away the best I have come across. The quality of the rope is great. It is very light and durable, easily coping with the demands placed upon it and it doesn't seem to 'twist' and become knotted. The handle covering is the thing that really stands out. It is made of a soft material that is fantastic to hold onto, even when it's cold and wet. It also helps prevent friction or rope burn on your hands if your dog starts to pull. If our dog does start to pull, the slip lead provides enough feedback that she quickly realises and stops; the slip lead quickly loosening as she does. The lead has been a massive success with our family.

Walking the dog is great, but can come with some issues if you have limitations. At Hobby Aids we stock a few products from Long Paws that may help.
