Does anyone else’s dog love their vet? ❤️

Charlie has an injection for his arthritis every 5 weeks and we often take Ted along so he doesn’t have fomo.

Yesterday was excitement overload with them both wagging tails waiting to be seen and get the good treats

Home from a weeks holiday and have been treated to this derpy face all day 🥺

Our friend house/dog sat and they’ve been well looked after in the comfort of their own home but oh my gosh Ted missed us 🥺

Full blown whining running between all of us whilst Charlie rushed to get toys. We were back in the early hours and I kipped on the sofa with them to wake with his derpy face staring in mine. 🤣

Charlie spent his time periodically getting me toys to play with ❤️

It’s only now I’ve got home and looked at my photos that I’ve realised Ted never lies down next to another dog that isn’t Charlie so this is actually a huge thing for him 🥹

The sweetest boy there ever was ❤️

We’re not sure if it’s a heat related or old age related, but Charlie has stopped coming up on the sofa with us in the mornings and evenings 💔

I’m hoping it’s because he gets too hot with us in these warmer months 🤷🏼‍♀️

Charlie loves to cuddle and so now we cuddle on the floor. This is how he loves to position himself 🥰

🩸 Charlie’s had a haematoma in his ear.

This was caused by shaking his head and bursting a blood vessel which then made his ear flap all squishy with blood. We saw the vet last week and opted to wait a month and see if it went on its own as some of them do.
Unfortunately Charlie’s whole ear flap gradually filled and when I saw him in discomfort last night I booked the vets today.

The vet drained 70ml out of his ear and injected a steroid in. Charlie is so much happier today ❤️

Nothing makes Charlie happier than when he finds a ball on his walk. He proudly carries other around walking like he’s at Crufts 😃

We started at the pub for a coffee, walked to a local field for a walk/run then back to the pub for a drink 🍺🥂

We are so lucky to live in an area with such a great sense of community ❤️

🐕COMMUNITY DOG WALK! 🐕

This sunday will see the first White Bear community dog walk!

Meet at 10am in the garden of the White Bear for filter coffee and some pastries.

We will leave around 10:15 and head towards the Rugby club playing fields; where we can get to know each other and have a lesiurely stroll around the fields. This will give the dogs space to run and socialise as well!

The walk will be around an hour and all those who attend can have a glass of prosecco or bottle of beer on us when we return!

The coffee, drinks and pastries will be covered by us on our inaugral walk but if the walk is successful and we commit to more we will be asking for small contributions to help cover the cost.

The pub will open as usual at 12pm for Sunday roasts, so feel free to get an early table booked as there is limited avilibility in our dog friendly spaces!

We look forward to seeing you all and your furry friends soon!

If you know a dog charity, preferably local, please comment and tag them as we would love to use these walks as an opportunity to support dog charities too!

Love this 😍

Dogs are the heart of so many of our lives and with the aspirations of The White bear being the heart of the Ruislip and Ickenham community we want to get our dogs together in the pub and outside too.

On Friday's we run "Dogs that dine" where your furry babies can get a main course from our dog menu for free if 2 people have 2 or more courses from our Lunch Club menu.

On the 9th June we will be hosting our first community dog walk. We will meet at the pub in the morning for coffees and pastries, walk our babies and then back to the pub for a cheeky beer or prosecco! Any suggestions on how to make this a special occasion are welcome!

Such a lovely dog friendly pub with a new dog menu.

Charlie and Ted enjoyed a Sunday Roast treat pot whilst we enjoyed our lunch. They do one of the best if not THE best Sunday roast in the area as well as other great options if you don’t fancy a roast.

We also love that the manager always takes time to come and say hello and fuss the dogs ❤️

Today marks a momentous occasion; the launch of our ever requested dog menu!

We have a partnership with Sir Woofchester's who have curated an amazing menu for our furry friends.

For the next 2 weeks pop down between 4 and 6pm for Yappy hour, where we will give a doggy drink free of charge alongside the purchase of a doggy dinner!

We had a fabulous last night to our holiday in the The Tower Inn one of the two pubs in the village where we all enjoyed an amazing meal.

Another dog friendly pub a short walk from our house with a gorgeous log fire. Plenty of room for our large group including five dogs.

Our mum loved the roast chicken and the picture on the wall!

Today’s outing was Bigbury-on-Sea for a little stroll on the sandy beach and another pit stop at a little cafe with a full dog menu for your puppies needs.

Unfortunately the sea tractor was only running for staff today so we were unable to cross to Burgh Island and visit the hotel where Agatha Christie wrote two of her novels set on the island
