You may never have seen behind the consultation room in a veterinary practice.
So take a look at the work our vets and nurses do on the front line every day to look after animals in veterinary practices, hospitals, in the field and on call - so that they receive the best possible care.
Thanks to Molly Case for the poem you have written about our profession.

We’re encouraging the return of out of date and unused antibiotics. This month, we’re working with the vet sector and the NHS to encourage the return of outof-date and unused antibiotics to help tackle the growing issue of antimicrobial resistance. During our amnesty, we are asking our clients to return out-of-date and unused medicines to our practices for safe disposal
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a worldwide health threat, as bacteria are becoming resistant to many antibiotics we use. Throughout November we are holding an antibiotic amnesty where we are asking our clients to return any unused antibiotic medications for safe disposal.

Bella - Part 2: We are pleased to report that after 2 weeks of strict cage rest, this is Bella today after her recheck with Vet Em. She has almost completely regained the use of her back legs and is slowly starting to come off of her steroid treatment. Bella still has a way to go before complete sign off but we are all so pleased with her progress! Good job Bella! 🥰
Bella Part 1: This brave beauty is Bella. We saw Bella as an emergency in the middle of June after a cat fight resulted in the complete paralysis of her back legs. She was hospitalised for two days to receive strong pain relief and spinal X-rays. Vets Em and Kelly were worried that a severe spinal cord injury may have occurred and it was touch and go whether she would survive or not. However after some slow improvements the decision was made to allow Bella to go home with strong pain relief and steroid treatment under strict cage rest. Bella was very lucky to have such dedicated owners who have done a fantastic job of looking after her at home…….see the next post of her today: 🥰
Handsome purr monster, Beaux came in to see vet Em, as he was limping on his back foot. He ended up having blood tests done. He really enjoyed the dreamies for being a brave boy - have the sound on loud to hear him purrrrrrrr 🥰
This handsome bundle of fun is Maple, who saw vet Callum today for his pre-op appointment before castration 🥰
