It’s with a heavy heart the team said the last goodnight to our golden girl Thistle

She was our first female alpaca to be welcomed to the farm 11yrs ago by trustee Adam.

She was loved by all and both staff visitors and volunteers. The team will miss her dearly

She peacefully passed away at the good age of 23 and has had many great days on the farm such as here in the picture with her first born at the farm many years ago.

DISRESPECTFUL and ruined our butterfly bush

please share name and shame them

This customer today decided she will ripe out our butterfly bush that’s been growing on the park and managed as part of our woodland project in preparation for our educational bee project. They then proceeded to take it home. when we confronted her she said it was for her autistic son. we are sorry but this is still not acceptable and she then said she wanted the police for harassment
Interestingly what are our customers thoughts here should this customer be allowed to rip up our butterfly bush and is this ok we think not

SCHOOLS OUT. and so are our tickets for our animal encounters. We have many encounters to enjoy over the summer holidays. Even willow our resident donkey is happy to welcome you.

Why not spend a hour walking with our alpacas and learn about them whilst also seeing the other animals on the journey followed by a delicious cream tea. 🦙

Or spend 30 minutes with our meerkats sit in the enclosure with them feed them why they use you as a climbing frame and you will also learn all about them.

Or maybe you will enjoy spending 30 minutes playing with our goats you will get to feed them and learn about there michevous behaviour 🐐

Or you can spend 30 minutes cuddling our adorable girl stinkabella she is super sweet she will curl up into you why you learn about her and feed her.

Another busy day in our reptile house as we get ready for the 6 week holidays. Farmer Kyle has begun to add some colour to our vivarium. Just a new floor and shelving left to go before we can welcome our new edition.

We are launching our new weekly competition called “eye spy” All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning a family visit to our farm (valid for a Saturday or Sunday) is to correctly identify the eye. We will draw a winner on Thursday and contact the winner via facebook.
