Hey everyone 👋🏻

Just wanted to make a post to explain a few things as I’ve been left a little deflated after the last few days.

If you book an appt with us and you forget or no longer want that appt and don’t notify us, I still have to find the money to pay rent, bills, wages etc so if you then ask me to make you another appt after realising you forgot to attend this one and I ask you to pay a % of the missed groom to cover the cost before I re book you - that isn’t me being awkward, that is me trying to recoop something to cover the gap which I likely cannot fill at such short notice.

If I booked a nail appt and I forgot to attend I would be mortified and I would offer to pay for that missed slot and I wouldn’t question that at all, however on more than one occasion I have been left to feel very disappointed that my time and service is clearly worth so little to a very small percentage.

I will not re book anyone back in without taking a percentage of the missed groom because this is only fair and If our service isn’t worth that then maybe we are not the groomers for someone who would have an issue with that

We do go above and beyond. I try to take as many pictures which I spend my own spare time fixing up to
A backdrop as I know people love it and I like to showcase our work as we are pleased with what we achieve but I don’t ask anything for this. I believe I’m
More than fair and I know things happen and I’m very understanding.

Most people have phones with calandars which you can set reminders on. There’s not much excuse to be forgetting really.

I hate being negative but it’s so frustrating. Everything costs money, products, energy, rent, wages, even down to the props I buy for the photos. So I can’t allow people to disrespect our efforts.

This is a tiny % but still has an impact.

Stormi child 🥰

So yesterday I stepped out of my comfort zone and I entered a grooming comp, my first one! I was so nervous, but I absolutely loved it, and Stormi was super well behaved so it made it so much easier. I have lots to work on to perfect things and I can’t wait for the challenge. Stormi doesn’t look so wild wig now she’s had a groom 🤣🤣

Halloween incoming

We have set up the Halloween backdrop. We will try and get as many pics as we can. If dogs won’t stand or are too old that it’s unsafe we can’t attempt it and if we need to use the table we can’t do pics that day but we will keep trying as best we can 🎃
