Roxy
Roxy
Some sad news to report as regular guest Roxy passed away a couple of weeks ago. her owner Kate Woods has agreed to a tribute being posted,
Roxy was a wonderful companion, we did so much together, up Roseberry Topping, visiting abandoned railway stations and World War II relics and many hours spent together on Redcar beach and South Gare. There wasnt a care or trouble in the world that could not be melted away by Roxy's company.
I walk and care for pets all day every day. every evening, every week end and yet a few months ago I had a free afternoon to myself, so I thought what do I really want to do, that was easy, I messaged Kate and asked to borrow Roxy!
Thanks for the memories Rox, you will never be forgotten
Tiger 6th Feb
Tuesday 6th February
Tiger Bertie and Jasper racing 14th Sept
Thursday 14th Sept
For our afternoon walk , we were joined by Jasper a 3 yr old Lurcher so Jasper Tiger and Bertie decided to have a race which I caught the end of on camera. Paul Latham had backed Bertie the Westie
Jasper will be holidaying shortly. Bertie liked the idea of a dog that he could chase around having a bit of time with us and it gave Tiger some peace too. Bertie is doing very well, he is very happy indeed, sleeping well and eating well and certainly enjoying all the pets he meets on our walks. he has taken a liking to perching himself on the window sill so he can watch all the passers by.
Presently we are awaiting a visit off another potential guest and then we will be off out again
Bailey and Tiger 8th September
Friday 8th Sept
Time for a video, this is Tiger and Bailey playing in the beck today, we did a 3 mile walk at lunchtime along the length of the beck and this is a favourite place of theirs to have a dip and its running water so makes a great stop
Vinny Bailey and Edna 21st Aug evening
Tuesday 22nd August
Took this video during last nights walk and like it as it shows them all enjoying themselves and want to share it.
Bailey and Vinny had a fabulous tussle over a branch they found in the beck and managed to bring it home with them.Edna knows when to get out of the way
Today we have a Beck walk and walk to the shops and now about to go out again, they are all enjoying the extra company as both my lads are with me, so we have been all going out with them
Messi 28th July
Dog free today so took in my first footy of the season but here is a look back to some video of Messi and his ball chasing skills from 28th July
Darcy 29th June sandy Flatts
Thursday 29 June
Today we played Darcy-fetch. It is very good exercise for humans. You throw the ball and then chase after Darcy trying to get it back..
And I think the house is haunted. There are only the two of us here and Darcy's nice owners explained he sleeps downstairs on the sofa and patiently waits for you coming down on a morning. So who was bouncing on my bed at 7am? ( obviously not a human)
Must have been a ghost. Anyone else got a ghost with a wet nose?
Max , Avenue of trees 1st June
Thursday 1st June
Chance to see Max at his ball chasing best down the Avenue, please remember the ball thrower and camera man is the same person so there is a bit of camera shake

Tiger on Sandy Flatts 2nd Feb
Feb 2nd
Took Tiger to sandy flatts for a good sprint on soft ground and then on to Marton beck west walk by devil's bridge, so called because the underside of the bridge is said to have a cloven footprint.Did not wade in to check .
Giles in Avenue of Trees
Giles goes home tonight but he has got to like this walk and pulls to go here, there are plenty of squirrels to chase and you do not get any car doors banging or loud noises which he does not like
The video is a little dark as was throwing it down this afternoon
