Introducing Helene 🐾
She has recently joined our team on reception. Having just finished four years of studying zoology with professional studies at Queens University Belfast. 🎓
🐒She has enjoyed gaining experience with various animals, from ranch horses in the USA to Southern Africa wildlife in Namibian sanctuaries, but her favourite animals are her own pets: Argo the dog, Glitter the cat and the bunnies, Annie and Luke. 🐇

Introducing Lucy & her puppy, Nellie🐾
Last year Lucy came to the clinic for placement for her Veterinary Care Assistant course at CAFRE. 🎓 She passed her course with flying colours and has been accepted onto the Veterinary Nursing Course.👏
We are very pleased that she has joined our team as a student veterinary nurse this year.

🪿Most unusual patient of the week. This little lady was only 4 weeks old and had hurt her leg.
Rusty was so busy tucking into his lickimat he didn't even notice his vaccine and microchip being injected 😂
His brother and sister. Rocky & Gemma, looked on waiting patiently for their turn with the lickimat 🥰
Baby Bea needed a shower after a run around Montalto Bark Park with her 3 doggy brothers. Hard to keep up with four paws never mind three but as always she enjoyed every minute of it❤️

A great weight loss success story for Zuki.
With the help of Hills Metabolic weight loss diet and Lesley-Ann our registered veterinary nurse, she started at 11.5 kg in March 23 and has steadily lost weight and is now 8.5 kg.
Her owner has noticed a massive improvement in exercise tolerance which has increased 3 fold over her weight loss journey with us.

Bea has gained weight after treatment for worms and giardia. Cheeky little monkey with my own dogs. Had started to try and scratch her ears.with her deformed back leg. Is it any wonder, poor wee mite now needs treated to get rid of these beasties in her ears.

Martin has been with us from 28th May. He was suffering from a massively infected wound under his left elbow/chest area. Not microchipped. Now on the mend he is searching for his new home through Almost Home NI in Moira. He's turning into a real lap cat, loves being brushed and loves his grub.
We had a chocolate theme last week. Meet Coco, she was with us last week for neutering. Can you believe this lovely lady was rehomed through Almost Home Animal Rescue NI.

This week we fell in love with a litter of corgi puppies who came in to get their vaccinations and microchips before being rehomed. 🥰 These gorgeous puppies are destined for the show ring but they still love a cuddle❤️❤️
