Please be careful whilst on the beaches with your fur babies

WARNING FOR DOG WALKERS, IN CASE SOME OF THIS IS HAS WASHED UP ON PORTHCAWL BEACHES TOO.......
Dog owners have been warned to be careful whilst walking their four-legged friends on the beach after sightings of a highly poisonous plant known to kill animals when ingested. Hemlock water dropwort roots have been spotted washed up at Ferryside, Cefn Sidan and Burry Port beaches.
It has been known to cause paralysis and death in pets, along with breathing difficulties, as it contains alkaloids which attack the nervous system, and is also harmful to humans. The roots of the plant are the most toxic part. A dog walker said that she picked some up and removed it out of harm's way on Monday, whilst there has been plenty of other sightings across the Carmarthenshire destinations.

***** Still missing from this morning, I've been up there all day and heading back now as she's been spotted twice by her mum and dad she's sticking to around the same area that she ran from where my van was parked in rhyslyn car park so I'm going back up to park my van in the same spot now as this morning. Thank you for all the shares and help so far ❤️

Hey guys one of the dogs has been spooked by a dog running towards her so please keep an eye out for her grey daschund with pink collar she's run from rhysyln car park down towards the main road. Walks will be delayed or cancelled until I find her

Woofy Greetings & Hello from Pawsome Care Neath. Over the next weeks / months (depending on Covid-19 rules & regulations) my Mammy will be offering a 5* Home from Home Dog Day care service, Home Boarding & Dog Walking service for fur babies (under 10kg).

I am very lucky to have so much Love, Care, Attention and lovely walks as there are many fur babies worldwide that unfortunately do not get to have a wonderful & loving life that I have.
