Looking after these guys for a British Hen Welfare Trust volunteer this week. He's recently adopted 6 newbies. I forgot how scrawny they are when you pick them up, ours are so hench now. I'm happy these ladies have such a lovely place to retire. #adoptdontshop

Baby Jane Playing Bug Smash
A short video of Jane playing Bug Smash. This was some weeks ago when she was tiny. She is almost fully grown now with 70% of her adult feathers. She spends her days following us around the house shouting and pooping. She also enjoys the paddling pool.
Velvet LOVES parsley.
Saturday night at HQ. We are nothing if not rock and roll :)
Lottie, Millie and I were not at all fussed by the rain today, we had quite a marvelous time :)
These welcomes never ever get old β€οΈ
It was a little too hot for a midday walk with these two today so we enjoyed some paddling pool time, fetch, tug of war and played a little olfactory training game too. The random jolt in the video is me scattering tiny treats. I should point out that these guys have another two or three hours of walks a day and the garden time was approved by their Mum.
As it was warm and Lottie and Millie are missing their Mum this week we had some paddling pool time today, it's one of their favourite games. "We miss you Mum, come home soon. Love and licks, Lottie and Millie xx"
Brucie loves a good bum scratch :D
Beautiful day for a little dog-sitting and a perfect day for paddling pool play :)
Whilst i am walking dogs off-lead I like to practice recall a couple of times each walk. I find this helps to make recall an instantaneous reaction rather than a decision to be made on variables such as other dogs, people, joggers and dead animals. Here are Lottie and Millie doing a sterling job.
