Rockley Stables was opened 21 years ago by Patricia Reeves, who has over 30 years experience in riding and teaching at all levels.

We are a children's riding school teaching children from 4yrs of age. Rockley Stables specialises in teaching children to ride in a safe, friendly and fun environment. We have ponies to suit all ages and abilities. All of our instructors are trained to a very high standard on how to teach children to ride

All beginners are taught whilst on a lead rein, until they have a balanced seat, along wi

th being able to walk and trot unaided. We take children from the age of 4 years old to 16 years of age.

Defra and their vet we have been awarded 5* star rating YAY!! Fantastic

Hi everyone my name is Pumpkin I'm sooo excited my new mum has bought me to rockley stables to teach boys and girls how to ride! She says I have to have an assessment period. first so I have to be on my best behaviour. I've made friends with Dylan and Maurice but la la doesn't like me? Hi folks after 20 wonderful years never putting a hoof wrong and surprising us by given us Buttons we have decided to retire Smartie. She will come out of lessons at half term. She is still fit and well but it's time for her to enjoy the rest of her life here with Eric and Ronnie. What a wonderful pony she is,she has kept many many children safe and happy whilst learning to ride . Happy retirement Smartie lots love from all at Rockley stables ###x
