Terms and Conditions - Wedding Cakes WHEN DO I NEED TO BOOK? Many of our couples like to book 12 months in advance to secure their choice of date. We are currently taking bookings for 2013 and 2014, we took around 100 bookings in 2012 so early booking is advisable to secure your cake. If you would like us to offer you a free consultation then please get in touch and we can make an appointment to suit your own schedules. HOW MUCH IS A DEPOSIT? A £50 deposit is all that is required to secure your booking/date. Your wedding cake design, style, colour scheme and flowers can then be confirmed closer to your wedding date. Wedding cake bookings made within 2 months of the date can be made which will require a 50% deposit. PRICES As nearly all of our cakes are bespokely made we are not able to give prices until design details have been finalised. To give you a better idea of prices you can view our comprehensive range of cake designs we have previously created on our website www.authenticake.co.uk Unfortunately a booking is NOT CONFIRMED until a deposit has been recieved. If paying by cheque, then this will need to be recieved within 7 days of any provisional booking. Cheques can be made payable to 'Authenticake' and posted to the corresponding address; 28 The Elms, Porthi, Newcastle-under-lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 8RP. A confirmation receipt and booking form will be sent to you promptly. Any balance is due on a wedding cake needs to be paid at least 14 DAYS prior to the event. *Please note that all deposits made are non-refundable* DELIVERIES Free delivery and set-up where possible for wedding cakes can be offered within a 15 mile radius of our Newcastle-under-lyme base, subject to availability. This excludes Bank Holidays where a minimum charge applies. Outside this area mileage is chargeable at 50p per mile round trip. We reserve the right to withdraw the offer of delivery where we consider distances are too extreme. HOW CAN I PAY? We currently accept payments by cash, cheque or balance transfer. Unfortunately we are unable to accept card payments at present but there are cash machine facilities conveniently located within 20 yards of our consultation studio.
