💔🐶💔 It is with a very heavy heart that I have to announce I am going to have to stop grooming. I have unfortunately developed an allergy to dogs. I’ve tried my best to work through it but I don’t think it’s healthy having to take medication each day to go to work. I have spoken with 2 other groomers in chippenham who are able to take on new clients. There details are below. I’m so so sorry and I just want to take this opportunity to thank you all for allowing me to groom your fur babies. I love each and every one.
I will try to continue with all dogs who currently have appointments but this may have to change depending on my health.

I had the lovely Max and Theo in again today. Gorgeous brothers that have been coming to me since they were tiny pups. It all got a bit much for Max who decided he needed a nap half way through, certainly made it a bit trickier lol. 🐶🐾🧽🛁❤️🥰

Lovely Koda, was very nervous having his first big boy groom but we got there. A very tricky groom as he didn’t want me near his front legs or anywhere he could see me, but with a bit of perseverance we got there. Such a cutie 🥰🐶🐾🛁🧽❤️ xx

Just look at this absolute beauty. When she first started coming to me she was petrified and it was so tricky. Today for the first time we’ve managed to complete a full groom including her legs which previously I haven’t been able to go near with the clippers. I feel like a proud mum lol. 🐶🐾❤️🛁🧽🥰 xx

I’m now fully booked until January. If I get any cancellations, I will post them on here. So for those who wanted a pre Christmas groom but couldn’t fit in, keep your eyes peeled! Xx

I have permission from the owner to post these pictures to hopefully help other owners understand the importance of regular grooming appointments and daily brushing.

The owner is new to owning a dog and didn’t fully understand how difficult it is to maintain a coat like this or how bad it actually was, which resulted in the worse matting I have seen. Luckily this gorgeous pooch was very patient and I was able to remove every single matt which took hours.

🐶Please, if you own a poodle mix or any long haired breed look into what it takes to maintain the dogs coat before you commit.
🐶Find a reputable groomer and book 6 weekly appointments.
🐶Any decent groomer will happily give you advice on what types of equipment you need for daily maintenance of the dogs coat.
🐶brush and comb your dog EVERYDAY, even if they don’t like it! With praise and treats and continuity they will get used to it.
🐶as soon as your dog has had their vaccinations book them in for their first puppy groom, so they can get used to being groomed.

If anyone has any other questions about what they need to maintain their pups coat please feel free to message me. I’d rather answer a million questions than have to see another pup in this condition ❤️

This mahoosive fur baby is Shakespeare, my fur nephew. I don’t normally do large breeds but as he’s family he’s my exception. He took 4 hrs and had to go short due to matts, but he was an absolute legend and stood so well. Very proud Aunty 😆🐶🐾❤️🥰😍🛁🧽 xx

The gorgeous Mochi came in for his first puppy groom yesterday. He had to have an operation on his eyes last month hence the shaved face. You’ll be happy to know that wasn’t part of the groom!! Lol.

This beautiful girl Roxy had to go short due to matts but now she’s all ready to start growing out fresh. She was an absolute star and stood brilliantly for me. She even nodded off standing up and I had to catch her, love her. Can’t wait to see her again in 6 weeks. ❤️🐶🐾🥰🛁🧼🧽 xx

These 2 little darlings are Ziggy and Maisie and what a gorgeous pair they are. Unfortunately they were matted due to their last groomer stopping but they’re now booked in 6 weekly with me. I could certainly tell they’re used to going to a groomer as they’re behaviour was just perfect. I can’t wait to have them in again. Just gorgeous. 🥰❤️🐶🐾🛁🧼🧽 xx

Gorgeous Max came in today for a puppy groom. This helps him get used to myself, the salon and all the smells and noises etc before his first big boy groom. He had a bath, dry, brush, nails clipped, feet tidied and eyes cleared so he can see properly. He's a little fidget bum, but so gorgeous 😍🐶🐾🛁🧼🧽❤🥰 xx

Little Nellie loved her cuddles. She's a little drama queen 👑 in the bath but was quite happy with the dryer. She wasn't a fan of having her front legs touched which made it a little tricky but with lots of patience and praise she was an absolute star ⭐

This is gorgeous Reggie. A very sweet. Very loving toy poodle, but was so scared from the second I put him on the table. The groom was a slow and steady groom with more cuddles than grooming. Didn't get the finish I would of liked but keeping him as stress free as possible was my priority. Hopefully with time and lots of praise, and cuddles he'll get better. ❤❤✂️🛁🐶🐾🥰 xx
