As a dog walker, it really upsets me seeing people walking their dogs in this heat and unfortunately I can not keep my mouth shut with when I see irresponsible dog owners.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, DO NOT walk your dogs in this heat. Your dog can skip a couple of days of walks and be safe, rather than suffering from heat stroke and you potentially losing your beloved pet.
Be a responsible dog owner and stop doing this.

Very early morning walks and very late at night walks are always best but do make sure you check the temp before going out as even at those times it can still be too warm.

Imagine wearing your furriest warmest coat with no shoes on whilst you are out in this heat, this is how your dog will feel.

There are other ways to keep your pooch entertained and mentally stimulated inside whilst the hot weather passes. Please message me if you need any tips!

The gorgeous fun loving crazy Gino! Have had a wonderful couple of weeks helping Ginos mum out. Lots of walkies, play time, training and of course cuddles and loving to keep Gino happy and busy!

This is why I love my job! Making massive progress gives me such a big smile on my face! Keeping it simple with words (in this case, come) and the command you want them to do! Well done Hux, his recall is becoming near on perfect. Let’s keep up the good work! Consistency, repetition & patience is key for great success with training! 😊

Today I’ve had the pleasure of house sitting these 3 beautiful doggos (Olive, Gaston & Milo)!
Keeping them busy with plenty of playtime, licky mats, trick training and lots of love and cuddles!
They’ve all been an absolute dream, they’re poor mum and dad are stuck over the mainland so a few more hours of snuggles with the three 💕

What an amazing session with lovely Huxley yesterday! So proud of this gentle boy. He loves to be 5 steps ahead, following a scent or just purely excited for a walk! Yesterday I gave him a new job. To engage with me, focus on where I am going, rather then what’s going on around him. From a boy who just wants to go go go making walks a little unenjoyable as some dog parents know, pulling can be a bad habit, to Huxley either walking next to me or behind me after some entanglement training yesterday. Practice makes perfect, it’s my aim to get this boy to walk like this 100% of the time for his owner and family! He’s learning quickly and I am so super excited for the whole family to enjoy walks with their beautiful boy right by their side! 😊

Obviously had a little playtime off-lead after all his hard work and focus 💕

What a gentle soul, doing some work one on one to improve lead walking so his lovely owner can start enjoying relaxing walks with her beloved family pet 💕 Looking forward to starting this journey together Hux 🥰
