The Beginning...

Hello, let me tell you a little about myself and Snout and About. My name is Linda, I have two beautiful dogs called Scooby and Ruby and I live in Conlig. I have grown up with dogs and I believe they are a part of the family, not just pets. For the past 7 years I have been working in Boots pharmacy as a dispensing assistant, helping prepare medication and helping to provide care for patients. Around Christmas of 2017 i decided would like a different challenge, although I enjoyed my job I felt I needed something different. I started to look at dog walking as it would involve two things i love - Dogs and being outside. I put together my business plan, reduced my hours in Boots (I now work Sundays and evenings), did a training course in Dog Walking, learnt pet First Aid, bought a van and launched Snout and About in May 2018. I had considered dog walking after I finished school but the thought of my own business overwhelmed me, instead I waited until I had a mortgage to pay... Wish me luck, i hope to see your many puppers and doggos as the year goes on :-)
