It is looking like our last day will be the 12th November.

We want to thank each and every one of you for being amazing customers. We consider ourselves very privileged to have really lovely guests staying with us. We have a few more bookings before then, so we hope to see you in person, but if not, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

Our first announcement is a unfortunately a very sad one.

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we have decided 2023 will be our last year of running the cattery.

Since life has returned to normal, the usually seasonal business of the kennels has become all year round. This in itself is amazing and we are over the moon!

We have brought in extra help for the kennels to ensure that we are giving 100% all the time, but Caroline struggles with trusting people to look after the cats, having nightmares and going out to the cattery at 3am in the morning, just to check everyone is ok. We feel that if we can't offer 100% all the time then it is not right to continue.

It has been an incredibly difficult decision as we have been blessed with an amazing customer base, both feline and human alike, who have been a pleasure to work with and who we will miss having to stay.

It's a decision we have been considering for a while now and we have tried to tell as many of our customers face to face. We have decided that November will be our last month and we hope to see some of you again before then.

2022 was an incredibly busy year, which with the increase in dog and cat ownership and reduction of Kennels available in East Lothian, was to be anticipated!

However we are aware, at several times of the year, that we had to disappoint our regular and loyal customers, as we were fully booked and unable to accommodate their booking.

We have been looking at the bookings for this year and it's already looking very similar! For this reason we have decided that we will not be taking on new clients for the time being.

We are so grateful to have such a brilliant customer base, we want to put you first. If you have used our kennels or cattery at any point in the last 4 years, we will be delighted to book you in, (if we have space), even if it's with a new pet. All bookings already made are secure and not affected in any way.

We will review the situation every couple of months but for the meantime we are very sorry for the inconvenience it may cause, but we hope you appreciate why we made this decision.
