If only all our patients would take their tablets this well!
Naturally, being half labradorite, this vet dog got the greedy gene!

It is a great way to build up muscle strength & tone, encourage & speed up healing after orthopaedic surgery, whilst also having the benefit of increasing fitness and encouraging weight loss. It is also very enjoyable and we also have dogs coming for “swims for fun”!

Ted was not so keen when he first came to us, but he has become such a super star. After only a few sessions he has gained so much strength and confidence within the hydrotherapy pool.
We are so proud of you Ted, keep up the great work ⭐️

(Pup is owned by Dr Hann)
You might remember seeing this little chap a few months back. This mini hamster came back to see the vet. He's doing much better after his last visit but needs some ongoing medication for his arthritis.
His owner warned me he was feeling a bit feisty today, but once I got him out and started to tickle his head, he remember that this is where he makes the vet very happy when he takes the cutest naps. He's so sweet. If we stop stroking him he opens a little eye like 'excuse me, please don't stop'.
He's such a cute little dude, we couldn't help but take a little video to share with you with his owners permission.

A little fun
You've met our vet on wheels, but you may not be familiar with disabled pup Millie who is owned by one of our nurses. She has deformed back legs and uses her own little doggy wheelchair to get about.
Here's us having a little wheelchair race after work, Millie does get a bit distracted by the environment 😂😂
This is Scooby the 10 year old corgi enjoying his laser therapy with Caroline, one of our qualified veterinary nurses. Laser therapy is a very popular treatment option for a lot of medical conditions, in particular musculoskeletal & orthopaedic issues. It can be used as part of a treatment plan to reduce inflammation, reduce pain and also helps promote healing. It is also very relaxing as Scooby is demonstrating!
