Foxy - BYEH
Jesmond Renard (aka Foxy) our latest 4YO has made a great start to his competition career in the Bughley Horse Trials, Stamford BYEH class. Solid performances at the stunning Dodson & Horrell Chatsworth International Horse Trials (my favourite one-day venue) where he finished 6th and today at the lovely Rockingham Horse Trials 2019 (which isn't too shaby either) for 5th place. He still has lots to come whcih makes him very exciting. Thanks as ever to Ginnie and the team at Tanglewood Farm Stables. On to Houghton ( Musketeer Events )
So good day out for Rainbow ๐ at Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre horse trials today. She was bit feisty in the dressage and sj for a 32.3 and one rail, but had a lovely spin round a wonderful and up to height Novice class. No ribbons but a real confidence giving round. Thanks to Willa Newton Eventing and the team of Janet, Nolly and Gabby. Looking forward to Bradwall.
For Sale: Jesmond Spirit finishes 2nd at first BE event
Spirit's fabulous start to his BE career. A stud record of 20 dressage, a couple of unlucky rails (a small arena when you are over 17hh!) and flew round the XC. Slowly produced by Ginnie Turnbull he is a serious star for the future. If interested please PM me or Tina Canton at TSH.
Jesmond Noir (Nelly) and Ruth nailing it at Solihull. Double clear to finish 4th just 1 mark behind winner๐๐
๐ She is for sale - ideal for Mitsubishi Cup but able to go on given time. PM if interested.
Jesmond Shakala (Boo) - For Sale
Boo had a good run in a field of 60 in the 4YO at Fieldhouse. Finishing 2 points off top ten, she is getting better each time and totally unfazed by the XC fences. Thanks to Ginnie and the team at Tanglewood Farm Stables- what an amazing job you have done with Boo and all the ones you produce. Allen & Page Horse Feeds
Spirit - a star in the making (For Sale)
Spirit did his very first outdoor event yesterday at Solihull Riding Club - coming second with one rail down. By Royaldik he is five but as a big beautiful bay baby (my best alliteration for a while!) we have given him lots of time to bring on. He is a straightforward ride for a professional or competent amateur and a pleasure to have around. He is not a giveaway price but if interested please PM me. As ever thanks to Ginnie Tanglewood Arena and her supporters Allen & Page Horse Feeds.
Yesterday England ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ may have won the FIFA quarter final but more importantly Rainbow ๐ won her first BE class at Buckminster!! Many thanks to Willa Newton Eventing and the team of GIRLS (that was Willaโs phrase!) for doing such a fab job with her.
JJ and Lauren enjoying themselves (maybe a bit too much!!๐) just quickest today by 9 secs!! We love Bramham International Horse Trials
Misty at Rockingham
Misty (Jesmond Mystery) was really good at her first BYEH The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials Official Page this year at the ever growing Rockingham International Horse Trials. Sadly one place away from qualifying but boy she showed she can gallop ...........and really enjoyed that bit! The rest was pretty good too (clip of the flatwork).......Thanks so much to Ginnie and the team at @Tanglewood Farm Stables and her supporters Allen & Page Horse Feeds We really appreciate all the work you put in. ๐๐
Spirit
Spirit (Jesmond Spirit!) out doing one of his first dressage tests ........albeit still indoors........in the May sunshine! Anyway Spirit is our 5 year old by Royaldik; he was only backed late last year a so only now starting to go out to play.
He was a really good boy scoring over 70%. He's a big lad who is very well put together but still strengthening up. Thanks to WIll Turnbull of @Tanglewood Farm Stables/ Tanglewood Arena who has done all the work with him and have him a great ride today.
Jesmond Justice @ Belton - 7th in the 3*
......great first run of 2018 @ Belton Horse Trials CIC3*. Aafter a tense dressage JJ then excelled with a fabulous double clear. Thanks to Lauren from Shannon Eventing for giving him a great ride and Jess he looked stunning!
Jesmond Shakala (Boo)
Boo our beatiful Royaldik 4YO old for has done her first dresage test. She was cool, calm and collected - well occassionally wobbly but a fabulous start! Looking forward to seeing her competing in BYEH and KBIS - hope she is as good as her sister Jazzy (Jesond Jasmine). ๐๐๐#TanglewoodFarmStables; #Tanglewoodarena; #thestallioncompany
Kitty placed again
Kitty (Jesmond Trinket) had another great outing at Askham Bryan College Equine Business Management ending up third in the 90 section - double clear on 29 dressage. Thanks to Ginnie of Tanglewood Arena who gave her a great ride - being 4 secs inside time well judged albeit second place was on same score but 2 secs closer.....clearly Captain "Not quite so slow!" these days.....๐๐. Kitty has really progressed so well this year and thanks to Ginnie for that, she is ready for 100s and beyond next year with the right rider. Thanks to whole Tanglewood Farm Stables team and supporters Bishop Burton Equine Centre and Allen & Page Horse Feeds Sue Carson Saddles.
Autumnal August Action
August started well with Jazzy qualifying for KBIS British Equestrian Insurance Osberton final and the last week has been good for Team Jesmond - Kitty has proven her ability with a second place at Shelford, Rainbow was third in the BE100 at Keysoe, beating the "old man" Skippy in the same section who came 7th! The main man JJ has had another great run with Lauren Shannon for 5th at Aston in the OI. Other good news is Mark Kyle has had his second operation and now properly on the mend........Badminton 2018??? Now looking forward to Friday at BYEH at The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials Official Page . As ever many thanks to Ginnie at Tanglewood Arena, Willa Newton Eventing and Hannah Babb plus their supporters Allen & Page Horse Feeds,@bishopburtoncollege and Sue Carson.
