The world’s largest cylindrical aquarium is in a hotel lobby. Opened in December 2003 at the Radisson SAS Hotel in Berlin, the AquaDom floats almost above the heads of visitors. A glass elevator takes guests in the middle of a transparent tank twenty-five meters high and 11 meters in diameter. It has a capacity of 900000 liters. The aquarium is home to 2600 fish of 56 species.
