Due to the recent weather, and the improving weather forecast for the rest of the week, we are trying to proactively manage the ground at Saracen Horse Feeds Houghton International Horse Trials.

Anyone in A1, B1 or C1 scheduled to do their dressage on Friday, there will be the option of an additional Horse Inspection on Thursday late afternoon to allow you to delay your arrival until Thursday.

🐎However, as this may be the first time out this season for many horses and riders, the courses have been designed to recognise this! 🐎

Following the arenas being open and riders and coaches working well with us (thank you!) we have now made the decision to open our cross country course this coming Saturday (23rd)
Please be aware that due to the lack of rain the going on the cross country course is very firm. You have the responsibility to ensure the safety of yourself and your horse with this in mind.
As with our arenas strict conditions of use will apply:
PLEASE ENSURE YOU WEAR THE FOLLOWING
- A riding hat without a fixed peak that complies current standards must be worn
- A body protector to the current standards is highly recommended
- No more than 2 in the same group from the same household on the cross country course
- Please fill in a disclaimer on our website before arriving for the grass XC www.aylesfordequine.co.uk
