Here’s the set up for tomorrow’s pole clinic. This one was really tricky to set up and get all the poles in just the right spots. First pole clinic too on our new surface which is riding beautifully. ⭐️ POLES TO JUMPS, SATURDAY 11TH OF MAY ⭐️

*** NOW FULL ***

We still have two places left on our poles to jumps session at 11.30am this coming Saturday.

It’s suitable for everyone who would like to leave the ground, whether that’s by 30cm or over a metre!
The session starts just the same as our regular pole clinics with a variety of exercises in trot and canter over ground poles. Then we move on to some progressive jump exercises. You can do as much or as little as you like at any height. The jumps are usually in a grid or other gymnastic type format.
Here are a few videos of the types of exercises we do.
Cost is £25 per rider in groups of 4.

We had a very busy week last week at Lower Farm Stables. It actually stopped raining long enough for us to do lots of paddock maintenance but the big news is that we have just levelled the arena and topped it up with 80 tonnes of Combi ride surface. It took three days of hard graft as much of it was done by hand but we are very happy with the results and it’s riding really well. Come along and try it out!

The next dressage clinic is with Kate Gregory BHSIsm on the 27th of April and the next Pole clinic is Saturday the 11th of May.

It’s pole time again! This month we have a slight change to our normal program in that there will be no jumping in the 11.30am session. We are having the arena topped up next week and the surface will need a little time to settle before we can jump on it again. Therefore both the 10.30 and 11.30 sessions will both be the same.

What a fab morning we have had in the spring sunshine today! Another fully booked clinic and it was great to see lots of new faces as well as the regulars! I hope you all enjoyed it and I took a few videos of you which I will post in the comments. Sorry I didn’t get everyone, I always forget to film, always too busy talking!

Another fab pole clinic today! I just thought I’d share with you the “Mr Nippy” challenge! Each month I have to think of an extra hard exercise for Angela and Damascus. This was very much just a walking exercise but here they both are making it look pretty easy in trot!
Well done both of you, now what to think of for next month! 🤔🤨🧐

Last month octogons, this month squares! Lots and lots of them! So many different ways to ride through them, I doubt we will get time to do them all. You know when I need a protractor that it’s octagon time again! I call this one “octagon marathon”, I’ve used every pole in my shed. Even that red and yellow one that I didn’t bother painting as I never use it. Wish I had now, it looks wrong there!

Should be sunny and a little warmer tomorrow. Result!
