Due to the increase in cost of living and to ensure we can continue to manage our overheads, pay our staff fairly, provide a safe environment and a high quality service to our customers, there will be a price increase from the beginning of April 2024.

Price increases will vary to reflect the specific service on a case by case basis, this will ensure pricing is fair, based on the individual breed, size, coat, condition, behavior and appointment regularity. We truly appreciate your custom and thank you for your continued support.

I can’t believe I am having to write this post, but it has been a long time coming. Please, please do your research on businesses that offer dog and animal services. Sadly, as a local Dog Grooming and Dog recreation business we regularly hear some absolutely horrifying things from owners. Sadly, the whole industry is highly unregulated and literally anybody can open a business grooming or caring for your dogs. Even convicted animal abusers and completely untrained people. Ask your new groomer, dog walker, trainer where they trained, how long they’ve been doing it, look at reviews, talk to your friends. In the local area there are many absolutely wonderful trusted businesses that have trained thoroughly, work ethically and kindly without dangerous practices. If a service sounds to good to be true price or availability wise it just may be, it’s worth doing your research and asking questions. We know a number of customers that have canceled with us lately, and other reputable businesses, and this has put their dog’s welfare in direct danger, it has really frightened us. If we can’t fit you in quickly enough, ask us to recommend other local businesses that may be able to, we will advise you of safe practicing alternatives. All good local dog businesses work together and communicate to ensure safety regularly. This is not to say if you are fitted in quickly that it’s not a trustworthy place, or if it’s a slightly cheaper alternative, we often have last minute availability, but good businesses need to charge properly for services, this is how they pay, train their staff, buy safe equipment, decent products, pay overheads, have the correct insurance, invest in their business and do the job properly and safely. Together we are desperately trying to get safer, better legislation within our industry for the safety of our pets, but right now there are huge loop holes - please, please be vigilant. If you are concerned or have any questions, please reach out to us directly and we will always advise honestly with your dog’s best interest.

Needless to say, all of my customers had met Lexi, she was a calming support for your nervous dogs and intrigued puppys, she was a playfriend (in her younger years), a role model for all my spaniel customers who had the "Lexi haircut" and she was the best dog for us 💕 valentine's day took Lexi to the stars after having a stroke 🥺 She didn't make it to our wedding like we had planned and walking down the isle without her Infront of me was the hardest part of the day, she wasn't just a dog, she was our family. 💔

Hello everyone 🤗

You never stop learning 😄 I've been putting some new skills to practice which I recently learnt from a course with Adam at Avon dog services.
I have been working with dogs since I was 15, with the odd break where I trained to be a barber and also did office work. This then led me on the path to combine my love of dogs and cutting hair to be a dog groomer. I completed a dog grooming course at a local established dog grooming school.

Alongside with my mum who has a dog walking business with my sister (called Doodle & Dog Adventure Walks Check out their page 😜) we decided to take part in Avon dog services Body language and behaviour course.
We are all passionate about giving your dogs the best experience when in our care and are true believers that even though we are experienced in handling dogs that you never stop learning 💕

9 months old and this girl absolutely smashed her first visit 😀 lots of treats were consumed 😋
We decided it was best to take her hair short and start over. When it grows out we can start to put some style in 😁😁 i look forward to seeing her in a few months time. 🐾
