Another successful day for the bloodstock today.

MISSTHECUDDLES and TWEEDDALE SKY both looked over and are healthy.

TWEEDDALE STAR had a scan to make sure everything was progressing as it should be with her pregnancy and we’re delighted to say she’s in foal to KINGSTON HILL

A nice filly out of MISSTHECUDDLES by FALCO.

Mare and foal are doing well, the foal has been named Tweeddale Sky after MISSTHECUDDLES dam AUTUMN SKY

A busy and emotional week ahead for the entire team 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ➡️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Ross makes the big move to Scotland on Friday which sees the relocation of Tweeddale Racing and Tweeddale Bloodstock to Peebles. We would like to thank everyone including racing clubs members and long standing staff member Jaime for all there support over the years and we hope you are as excited for the racing clubs next chapter as we are. We still have memberships available so don’t hesitate to get in touch!!!

Saturday we travel to Friars Haugh for the Buccleuch Point to Point where Ross rides SHE IS THE ENEMY.

INVICTION continues to feel and look well and an entry has been placed in the restricted race for the Holderness Point to Point at Dalton Park on Sunday, so we all hope for dry weather this week.

This season our associated racing club are happy to announce that we have once again secured sponsorship from Cormack Consultancy Group. Owner, Charles Cormack, founder of the bloodstock is a big supporter of racing.

Charles provides support with all aspects of the business and regularly catches up with the team when they are visiting Peebles. He is also regular face in the parade ring.

For this weeks fact we go back to the origins of the thoroughbred.

The thoroughbred was developed in 17th-18th century England. Native mates were bred with imported stallions of Arabia , Bard and Turkoman breeding, giving us the thoroughbred we know and love today.

Our first throwback Thursday goes back to the final time MISSTHECUDDLES ran at Chaddesley Races in May last season.

This was a great day for the team, she gave Ross a great ride and Jess was ready and waiting to welcome them home with a 2nd place.

🐎 MISSTHECUDDLES 🐎

More commonly known around the yard as Autumn, she is owned by Charles Cormack and is a 9 year old mare by Gold Well. Missthecuddles is your stereotypical mare who loves nothing more then to pull a face but deep-down loves attention and affection. While in training with Ross she ran on fourteen occasions placing on five of these. She is currently in foal to FALCO and we look forward to welcoming her first foal in 2024

Ross and Jess handle the day to day welfare and care of both broodmares and eventually any foals. They both come from experienced backgrounds dealing with a wide range of horses between them.
Alongside the bloodstock Ross is also trainer and jockey for Tweeddale Racing and Jess is a University student and dressage rider

🌟 WHO ARE WE? 🌟

We are a new up an coming bloodstock which was established by Charles Cormack upon retirement of his racehorse MISSTHECUDDLES.

Upon her retirement she was put to FALCO and we look forward to welcoming our first foal in April 2024.

We then gained the addition of TWEEDDALE STAR, a lovely natured and well put together mare by the GREAT PRETENDER with very good bloodlines. And just like that Tweeddale Bloodstock and the associated syndicate was established
