Hi all, after a bit of a nightmare January and part of February due to continuous flu, then Covid, I am now back!!! Normal service resumed...😊😊
If you have asked me to make a coat, can you please remind me as my memory also went a bit AWOL. I'm still making warm, thick coats at the moment, but I don't think it will be too long till we can look ahead to the thin raincoats as so called Spring approaches!
I'm sorry to anyone I've not contacted back.. also had a phone message left that I could not understand at all.. the signal was dreadful. So please contact me again should you need anything for your whippies! 😊 thank you.

Bit late, but Happy New Year everyone! I've been laid up with flu since Boxing Day... but whilst I've spent 24/7 in bed spluttering, sneezing coughing and having wacky dreams as I've traversed the temperature scale, a Christmas Elf ( my son Gaz) has created my very own hobby room .... where I can sew till my hearts content and I don't have my sewing machine on my dining table!! It's my Sanctuary.... and it's bliss. How lucky am I?? One happy lady.....😉😊😊😊😊 and yes... that's the sea out of the window.. to stretch my eyes when they get tired..😊

Have a wonderful Christmas everybody!!!
Thank you for following my page and letting me dress your sighthounds, which in turn helps me in donating fleeces, jackets, snoods etc to many hound rescues for auctions to fundraise and also for some of the hounds in their care awaiting their new family and their own couch. So here's a special shout out to all those beautiful hounds ....Happy Christmas to all the volunteers caring for them and for all the rescues who work tirelessly and see some heartwrenching situations, but get them to safety. Thank you.

Wishing everyone and all your sighthounds a very Happy Christmas!!!
Sewing will resume next week... I haven't done a single thing for Christmas yet.... so a busy few days ahead!
Thank you to everyone for letting me dress your whippets, lurchers, greyhounds and others. I've made quite a few donations this last year to rescues in the way of items I've made for them to auction, sell and for animals in their care to wear. I couldn't do it without you guys having coats and things made by me. If I could, I'd have a house full of whippets, but I can't, so helping the rescues is the next best thing.
Have a wonderful Christmas, stay safe and spoil all those sighthounds!!!

I've dressed lots of sighthounds and a few others over the last few years...! I enjoy my hobby although now its taking me much longer to create a coat as my hands and wrists suffer after a session of sewing...what I used to do in a couple of hours now takes a couple of days.....oh the joys of getting older...🙄🙂🙃. I don't do this to make a profit, I cover my materials and postage...and I like other people to enjoy my coats as I do... and to be honest it's been my sanity through the last couple of really tough years whilst I've gone through a divorce. Without this focus I can honestly say I don't know where I'd be. So thank you to all you sighthound slaves for trusting me to dress your little darlings!!!! Thank you to my girls too, because they're my little living manikins and never tire of me trying coats on them! 🥰I'm still here but just a little slower these days. 😉😊 I feel this page is one big family and we're all honoured and blessed to share our lives with these beautiful gentle creatures called sighthounds. Just a quick thank you too, to those who trade their skills and handmade items with me and my creations... its lovely to do this... and I treasure the beautiful things you make too. 😘 because I know they've been made with love and dedication.. just like my coats. ❤️

For all my friends locally with whippies, greyhounds, in fact all sorts of hounds!!.......

Shelley Witham is organising a memorial gathering at Poldhu for her friend Jenn Miles (her greyhound is called Feenix or Feenie as she is commonly known!).

This is an open invite to all who knew and loved Jenn Miles from Shelley.......

❤️❤️ On Saturday 25th November at 10am, we will be holding an informal gathering at Poldhu beach to remember our wonderful friend. Dogs are absolutely most welcome, and people are encouraged to bring them 🐕🐩🐶🐾! Please wear bright, colourful clothing/waterproofs just as Jenn would have wanted.
The café will be open for refreshments and snacks, including sausages for any dogs.
Please come along, enjoy the beach, nature and remember our dear friend. ❤️❤️

Had to share this with you all... this is how your coats start off on the table! I don't have templates or patterns... I draw round my own girls coats and tweak to the size I need.... purely freehand!! 🤣🤣

My spoilt girls dinners today.. cooked up pet mince ( offal) roasted kidney and liver, mixed veg, sprouts ( not so good later on...🤢) topped with a few pasta spirals and a sprinkling of Engevita B12 yeast flakes. Looks good enough to eat myself!!
