Newbie MT rescue Tilly.

I don't usually mix my own dogs with my clients but by special request, Edith supervised Tilly's groom as an emotional support dog.

Like many ex puppy farm victims, little Tilly is unsure of people but really relaxed having a doggy companion in the room.

This little one has come on so much in her new home She's really landed on her paws. She's a lucky pup 💕🐾🐾💕

Newbie Hope ( on the right) visited today with her brother Obi 🥰
Hope and Obi were rescued from a hoarder/ breeder years ago along with 58 others.

Both were rehomed separately but Hope's situation recently changed. Obi's family welcomed her and she's got her well deserved happy ever after 🎉

It was an absolute pleasure to groom her and see how happy she is.

Eddie appreciation.

Little Eddie was badly attacked by a dog while on a walk. He was lucky to survive and it was a very traumatic experience for him and his poor owners.

This little trooper has had to have lots of vet visits and procedures which understandably made him a little untrusting for grooming. Massive big up to his lovely family who helped him gain his trust again.

When signed off by the vet, Eddie visited and we worked in several short sessions so as to not overwhelm him.

His wound site areas have completely healed and today he was back in his usual furdo. No random short patches, the regrowth has finally caught up with the haircut. Yay.

This absolutely amazing pupper is back to his pre incident self. He's amazing, he's funny, he's cuddly and he's soo handsome.

I am in love 😍

Meet newbie Beau 😍. She's a shihtzu X bulldog.
Today was our first "get to know each other groom." She's used to the grooming equipment and was perfectly happy with the bath, dryer and clippers.
She told me to leave the nail clippers in the drawer and that my snacks aren't up to her standards 😅.
See you in a few months Beau for more back scritches and cuddles. 🥰🐾

Este and Vivienne. Perfect happy ending to end this year's grooming.

These 2 heartbreakers were removed from a hoarding situation over a year ago, along with their newborn pups. ( Shihtzu Shambles Gables Story)

Just L👀k at them now 😍. Regular grooming visitors who've flourished with the love and care of their wonderful family.

It's been a busy week for all the wrong reasons 🥹.

Yet another puppy farmer/hoarder and more poor souls in urgent need of care. Over 90 of them! Yes 90+ poor darlings whose sole purpose was to be someone's cash cows while existing ( not living) in absolute filth.

Gables cats and dogs home have taken in over 20 of these poor dogs and I've been busy with my clippers and scissors trying to free them from their felted/ pelted flea and p**p infested coats.

All of them had large parasite burdens, all of them had painful matting and skin issues. All of them are severely underweight. All of them had ammonia burns and grossly overgrown nails. All of them are absolute heart breakers, So grateful for any attention and delighted to be finally receiving cuddles.

It's going to be a long road to recovery for these babies and Gables are appealing for funds to help. ( If you can spare a few pennies, everything helps 🥹)

Here's just a few of them. Each and every one will break your heart 😟
