So yesterday we completed our 13 mile Trek26 walk. It was very tough but well worth it. Knowing we did it for ourselves but most importantly we did it to raise money for this fantastic cause which is so close to our hearts.

We still have a little bit of time to raise money so if anyone would still like to donate please do. We would appreciate it so much while we are resting our aching bones today 🤣.

I know my completed time but for anyone who donates £2.50 or above they will get free goes on my guess the time game. All you have to do is guess how long it took for me to complete the Trek. You have a chance of winning £25, a bottle of Asti Martini or a bottle of Jam Shed wine.

All to raise funds for Alzheimer's Society as this is very close to our hearts. My grandparents have Alzheimers and Vascular Dementia and is horrendous to see them like they are. We want to raise as much as we can so we can try and help prevent this horrendous disease as much as we can.

To help raise money we have a little game to play it is GUESS MY TIME.

There are 42 guesses available at £2.50 a guess. All you have to do is guess how long you think it would take me to walk the 13 miles!!! Sounds simple doesn't it 😂

You can have as many guesses as you want and there will be 3 winners with the closest times.

First Prize - Closest time - £25 cash
Second Prize - 2nd Closest time - Jam Shed bottle of wine
Third Prize - 3rd Closest time - Bottle of Martini Asti.

There have been 2 guesses so far of 4 hours 20 mins and 5 hours 30 mins. I will update the picture of the sheet later.

My Grandma and Grandad are both suffering from Alzheimers and Vascular Dementia so it is very close to our hearts.

Hi everyone.

Myself, my brother and sister-in-law (Simon Baxter and Amanda Baxter) and my Dad (Brian Baxter) are taking part in a 13 mile walk round the Yorkshire Moors as part of Trek26 for Alzheimers Society in May.

My lovely Grandparents, Anita and Des Woodock have been suffering with Alzheimers and Vascular Dementia for many years now. It is horrendous watching them everyday not knowing what they are doing, not knowing people are...being so confused all the time and not being able to do everyday things. It is heartbreaking, especially for my Mum, Auntie and Dad who are looking after them every single day.

We can only hope by doing things like this, it can raise money to help people who have been diagnosed or may even help stop people getting these horrendous diseases.

We have also recently found out that another relative has been diagnosed with Dementia too so will hopefully help them too.

Any donations will be gratefully appreciated 😊

So...the big day is nearly upon us!!! So just would to wish you all a Merry Christmas 🎅 and thank you all for another fantastic year. Without your continued support I wouldn't still be going, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.
