Fantastic week away at NPS summer champs, very proud of Lallyann and cwmtawe riva grabbing a first and reserve champion in the M&M mixed breeds. 🏆 Not quite mine and llanarth Emma's week, but pleased to have come home with a second and a forth. Very happy with how the girls looked 😁! Big thank you Tamsin Hewitt for your help, lovely company nice to catch up with some I haven't seen for 12 months, and thank you Natalie Budd for looking after the girls at home too.

26 years old, and still so beautiful ❤️ A testament to old Welsh cob breeding and a mare of substance seldom seen today. So lucky to have had her all these years.

Royal Cornwall Show 2024 🥳

Welsh Section D barren mare & gelding class results:

Llanarth Emma (Powysvalley Matty x Brenig Gwennol by Llanarth Prince Of Wales) 1st 🥇

Cwmtawe Riva (Llwynhywel Thunderbolt x Cwmtawe Rennie by Gwenllan Boneddwr) 3rd 🥉

Both mares behaved themselves very well both inside and outside the ring despite the very lively atmosphere! 4 years in the making for us to WIN at RCS, and a privilege to have both mares placed within the top 3 at a county level show. Very proud and eternally so grateful to have acquired both of these mares who bring us so much joy, love and pleasure day in day out.

A massive well done to all other competitors today 🥰

Nps area 26, M&M large breed classes. Not quite the judges choice today. However, Llanarth Emma claimed 2 x 2nds & Cwmtawe Riva 2 x 3rds the two girls behaved themselves impeccable 😊

80th annual Troon Show last Sunday saw Cwmtawe Riva take 1st place in the large breeds M&M with Llanarth Emma taking 2nd. Then after a large downpour and a very busy grandstand, Llanarth Emma produced a foot perfect show to take Champion, with Riva deciding she didn’t like all the noise and not showing herself as well as she did in the first class!

Very pleased with both mares, and fantastic for Llanarth Emma to be back out showing and really demonstrating how mature she has grown in the last twelve months. 🫶🏼

Thank you to all at Troon show and Pendarves for a well run, lovely day. It is great to compete against eachother now with our mares, besides who doesn’t love a bit of healthy competition 🫣😉!

Cwmtawe Riva now 4 year old had another very successful show on Sunday, this time hosted by Cornish Association of the Welsh Pony and Cob Society!

⭐️ 1st M&M mixed breeds 4 years and over
⭐️ Welsh Breed Champion
⭐️ Reserve champion overall

Such a lovely run show, fantastic atmosphere with the sun shining and hopefully a glimpse of what’s to come during the summer months of this year. Thank you as always to Carryann & Judy for all your words of wisdom and support getting everything ready. It is so greatly appreciated.

A fantastic show held at Cholwell Equestrian, and a brilliant start to what we can only hope will be a successful show season 2024 for us here.

Delighted to announce that Bryndel Cariad Meghan Mai (Geler Sparc x Bryndel Crackling Rose) has been successfully scanned in foal to Northwick Notorious 😍. A stallion who needs no introduction being a Champion both in hand and under saddle. We cannot thank Dafydd Hughes and his family at Corscaron Welsh Cobs enough for making this happen, and keeping Meg in phenomenal condition the entire time she was away. Could not recommend this stud enough, from start to finish a tremendous service.

The NPS Area 10 Silver Medal show at Cholwell marked the end of the showing season for us at Molghdu. Over the moon to end the season on a high!

⭐Results:
◾13/11/22 - Cornish Association of WPCS - Llanarth Emma (Powysvalley Matty x Brenig Gwennol) placed 1st A,B,C & D's Youngstock, Champion overall Youngstock & then Overall in hand champion!
◾20/11/22 - NPS Area 10 Silver Medal Show - Llanarth Emma, 1st 2&3 year old Welsh C's & D's, Overall Champion in hand & Silver Medal Winner, (unfortunately couldn't collect medal on the day due to card not being on my person in the ring)... 🤦🏻‍♀️ Silly mistake and gutted on the day, however, still very proud of Emma to have won it. She's developed beautifully the last 12 months 🥰.

◾Cwmtawe Riva (Llwynhywel Thunderbolt x Cwmtawe Rennie) 2 year old also ventured into the ring for the NPS Area 10, placing 2nd to Emma. She's matured a great deal, very excited for her 3 year old season next year 🤞🏼.

Both fillies have qualified for the winter championships at Malvern, and Emma also qualified for the Spring Championships! Roll on next season, and a very Merry Christmas to all our followers ❤️.

⭐2nd M&M Mixed Breeds any age

Some very encouraging and complimentary comments from the judge, and a lovely show to get her back into the ring. So pleased with her attitude to life and behaviour, an absolute credit to her breeding. Temperament second to none ☺️🥰.

Home from a successful and busy week at the NPS Championships hosted at Malvern Three Counties Show Ground. 💪🏼🎉

Llanarth Emma's (Powysvalley Matty x Brenig Gwennol) first show staying away more than one night, and a big ask to soak up a very busy atmosphere but she didn't disappoint! 2nd in the Welsh D 2/3 y.o. qualifier, 4th in the mixed breeds M&M final, and a very commendable 3rd in a large mixed breeds Home Produced M&M final, being the youngest in the class. Very very pleased to be placed in the top 5 everyday throughout the entire show, and in professional company.

A lovely show, and one we most definitely look forward to attending again 🥰🤞🏼❤️
